Animated Grimlock looks awesome! And the colors evoke its G1 appearance. I will be getting this. I may not get Prime, but I'll be sure to reserve my Grimlock.

So can you jam the sword in his mouth to make it look like he's breathing fire? Something for Ryan to try when he makes his gallery for Grimlock, if he has Grimlock yet.

Did anyone else notice the "Galactic Powers" listing? It says he is a strong as Megatron... wonder if we'll see a one-on-one with Megsy and Grimlock in the show. Prime certainly isn't strong enough to take out Megatron unless he gets a size and power upgrade in the near future- a reformatting maybe?

I see it says 'Snapping Jaws' on the front of the box. I wonder if they are spring loaded?

I like the fact he's clearly inspired by the G1 Grimlock (unlike the classics one who was upsidedown).
I've just recived my first three animated tfs (cyb mode Prime, Bumblebee and Bulkhead) and apart from Prime having 2 left hands, I love em, so Im desperate to get more Animated crack!
Cant wait for Grimlock, and I cant wait for the rest.

I wasn't at first sure if I'd like the Animated figures, but now that I've seen more of them , I'm definitely planning on getting them, and Grimlock is no exception.

I agree with you. I'm down with this Grimlock. Classics Grimlock was cool and all, but this one feels a little more "G1 awsome" then the Cl Grim. I'm guessing you take just the flame part of the sword and plug that into his maw.

Yes, in dino mode there is a button on his back that causes them to open. I've seen it done on one of the jillions of video reviews.

I'm just gonna have to see some of these figures up close before I make my decisions.
But I think there is potential here.
Since they did Arcee on an episode, any word if she will finally get a more G! accurate looking figure?

Love the sword and the figure rocks! The animated figures are really growing on me and i can't wait to get them!
