also where is Takara Skids!

When does Takara usually announce which figures they're repainting for their generations line?

So Starscream is coming out in Japan as "Armada Starscream" instead of "Micron Densetsu Starscream"

I guess Japan just gave up on its own naming. Score one for depressing, homogenous Americanisation.

Nowadays, it's only Masterpiece releases and the (once in a blue moon) Encore releases that retain the pre-2007 Takara names.

I don't think Skids will be released in Japan, at least not as standard retail. Kind of like how in G1 he was only available in a giftset with Sunstreaker and Buzzsaw. They also skipped Dreadwing, Scoop, and in a sense, Goldbug and Doubledealer for now.

And the red Megatron gun with Soundblaster... Beats me :-?
