This is the same series whose main villain is Steeljaw, a Decepticon carformer with a wolf motif as opposed to the original (... and FoC toyline) Autobot Lion Cassetteformer. They're just re-using the names if they find them fitting of the characters.

+ the size of him in the game....he looks more like he should be Jetfire

Anyone found a way to get a fanmode base out of Paralon?
I've tried.....but the results are far from best, although the tail does kinda form a tower in much the same way that Pandinus's does

Now, that's a live action show I'd watch!Dr Va'al wrote:D-Maximus_Primal also spotted another Australian TV ad - via the official Transformers YouTube channel - for Transformers: Robots in Disguise Power Surge Optimus Prime, also featuring Starscream, in a very moody, thunderstormy setting. Check it out embedded below!

I'm definitely getting a Duocons style combining gimmick vibe from the name Crash Combiners.

I wish that were the case. Duocon combining would be really sweet

If they're compatible with each other, you could probably make a Battletrap.

I feel like I mentioned this exact thing somewhere else (maybe the TR thread or something). I want to continue with combining of a sort, such as the duocon style and such. Hopefully this RiD version comes out well, cause I'm kinda excited to have energon styled combiners

We have now become aware of a new Transformers: Robots in Disguise product that may catch several people off guard. That's right folks, Robots in Disguise is going to invade 2017 thanks to this new Calendar found for next year! The calendar appears to feature all the primary characters from season one such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Strongarm, Sideswipe, and Grimlock. Check out the images found below, noting the $14.99 price as you go, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Some of that artwork looks new, or at least of a different art style.

Looks nice. So, what store was this calendar found at?

We don't know, we were never told. Though I would imagine it's one of those generic calendar places you find in malls

I was wondering now the normal White (large) Power Surge Optimus is out in the UK (and possibly other places in Europe) has he had his sounds neutered or is he still as chatty as the American one Emgo316 reviewed ?
I thought it best to ask - as I never did get some previous talking toys as I was so put off by the heavily edited speech on the European releases.
The Japanese one seems to say much less that Emgo's does and it doesn't make jetpack noises either. He's a great colour though - and much more suitable for an Optimus Collection being the usual red & blue colouring.
-------
P.s.
If you buy one of those large Optimus' and the arm keeps falling off at the elbow there seems to be a very easy fix - just undo the screw rotate the inner joint cuff 180 degrees and then redo the screw and for some reason the arm no longer falls off now - even though the part seems symmetrical there is a tiny difference from one side to the other that is enough to prevent the arm falling off.
(see emgo's video on the white version for an example of this)

From the same Transformers YouTube channel as the Australian promotional clips, we have a new German TV spot for the Robots in Disguise line, and more specifically the Power Heroes (Power Surge) Bumblebee and Sideswipe, the simplified figures with electronics and power-up minicons - as seen here. Check out the Thunderhoof starring clip below!

These live action commercials make me wanna see a TF show done in that "Ace Lightning" sort of style (live action background with cartoony-looking CG robots).

We finally have a sighting of the latest Robots in Disguise Warrior Wave in the US. This one comes to us from Scotty P who found wave 7, which features Windblade, Powersurge Prime and Scorponok at Toys R Us in Cary, NC. This wave also includes Thunderhoof and Quillfire in the Weaponizers refresh packaging, meaning those who have not seen these two yet will have another chance at seeing them in stores. For those wondering, wave 8 features no new toys while wave 9 will have Ratchet, Scatterspike and Bisk.

Got Skorp and Windblade yesterday, TRU in LFT. Both are great. RiD15 Windblade > Generations Windblade though i don't think Gen Windblade is a bad toy like a lot of others do. I wish there was some way to put her scabbard on her back, though. Where's my single carded Mini Cons, though!?
