Anyway, a board member on Shoot For the Edit asked Michael Bay if this was the real deal.

Really? Because early drafts of the first Transformers movie were pretty laughable too, so this really doesn't prove much to me...

Please for the love of god be no Soundwave in this movie. I want a new one just as much as the next guy but he will never be done right until hes in the classics line. At least there he has a chance of being a PSP or MP3 player or some thing that would be like his G1 form.

I knew this was going to happen again of course and I think it's hilarious what he's doing.
I snagged a copy of the first leaked treatment just before it was removed from Bays site.
Still have it too and for $99.95 a copy of it can be yours too!

Hopefully Bay hasn't let the success of the first film gone completely to his head and hopefully he isn't taking all of the credit for the success of the Transformers.
I think he he did a terrific job with the movie, but the whole concept of the Transformers was obviously around a lot longer han his involvement with the franchise. I am somehow getting the impression he might just go off and create a whole new universe with his own characters and stories that may be completely unrelated to the mythos we all know.
With the first movie he knew that, at least to a certan extent, he had to "satisfy" the old hardined fans, but with its success maybe he is pinning too much credit on himself.
I guess we will have to wait and see.

I thought Micheal Bay was purposely letting many fake scripts get released on the internet in order to keep info from the movie from getting out? I thought I remember hearing that anyway.
This could be the real script, or it might not be. I for one am not interested in reading a script anyway, I'll just wait until next year and go see the movie myself!
