By the looks of the inset pics the weight is for the toy alone. I don't see any packaging involved. But omg! we need more diecast metal parts w/ reliable joint technology. I was so disappointed in the Die Cast series.

Unless Takara improved on the mechanism that changes the bumper to the shoulder armor, those parts being diecast now will cause them to fall off constantly. So unless that was improved, BT-Convoy = Semi-fail.
