Blokees Adds Tarn to Action Edition and DOTM Bumblebee and Megatron to Classic Class

Posted by Emerje Sep 27, 2025 at 10:54am CDT 18,127 views
Blokees has been making some new announcements on their Facebook page over the last couple days for a wide range of pop culture series, and of course they had some announcements for Transformers. They started off Friday morning with a gray CAD preview of Bumblebee and Megatron from Dark of the Moon as part of the Classic Class. Then this morning we were treated to the next entry in the Action Edition line, Tarn!

If you aren't familiar with Blokees, they're model kits but pre-painted and made with solid plastic that makes them feel more like traditional action figures when assembled. The Action Edition figures even have light-up features.

Thanks to Seibertronian Perceptor1996 for posting these in the Energon Pub forums! Head over there and let us know what you think of these. It's going to be a while before we have more information on these but there's still plenty to talk about.

More Blokees news with the would wave of Defender Version wave 5 and better look at Classic Class DOTM Bee and Megs, Action Edition Tarn and what appears to be a Action Edition TF Prime Optimus. I may not be a big fan of Prime, but if they do a full line for the show then I may dip in.

Another picture of Tarn and Prime. As well as five Transformers for their new Blokees Wheels range. Is includes Optimus, Scapper, what I think are Mirage and Hound. Then the last one that I don't know who they are suppose to be. Maybe Bumblebee because these seem to be new designs.

So I saw that someone has already got their hands on the Blokees Wheels Transformers and we now know the full first wave and they are all IDW based. This will also work like the Defender Version with a wave of 12 with two characters getting two chase versions.

The proper full reveal of the Blokees Wheels Transformers wave 1.
I'm very upset that Lost Light Rodimus is going to be the super rare chase.

If you're a Blokees fan or have found yourself curious about why the kits have been a hit with fans you might want to get yourself over to Walmart today. Walmart is launching their Black Friday deals starting now and offering a real steal on Blockees Classic figures, specifically from Rise of the Beasts and the 2007 Movie. They're selling fast online, but they're also getting a display in stores if you want to take a chance and get them in person.

03 ROTB Scourge
04 ROTB Optimus Primal Beast Mode (Currently sold out online)
05 ROTB Optimus Primal Robot Mode
06 ROTB Mirage
07 ROTB Arcee (Currently sold out online)
09 Movie Optimus Prime
10 Movie Megatron

Walmart is also offering other Blokees deals on things like Galaxy and Defender cases online. Word of warning, if you order the single Galaxy Version 06 blind boxes they ship from the store and you'll likely get a Version 05 instead, which is what happened to me this morning.

Arcee and Beast Mode Primal are NOT in stores. At least not in any stores I found in Ohio.

Ours had a TON of Movie Optimus and Megatron. Mirage and Primal Robot mode were second with just a few Scourge packed in there.

Grabbed Scourge and the cheaper Bumblebee there while I could so I can pair them up.

Gott say the Classics class detailing is fantastic but I had more fun putting together the Galaxy Hound I got in a blind box.

Blokees have released an official video showcasing the first wave of the Wheels Collection. This set of blind boxed models will provide the Blokees collection with some IDW inspired alt modes. The video shown below provides the first glimpse of how these alt modes will be constructed.
The first wave will consist or Optimus Prime (with chase variants Titanium metallic finish) Hologram Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime (with Lost Light metallic variant) Mirage, Drag Strip, Megatron, Scamper, Hound, Swindle, Runabout, Prowl, Gears, and Swerve featuring what may be the first officially licensed "My First Blaster"!

It seems like the Wheels line will be based around a modular Axel joint. Really dig the diecast.

Classic Class "Dark of the Moon" Bumblebee has his full color promo pics out. I'm sure Megatron won't be far behind.

Oh that does look cool. But I've already got Rise of the Beasts Bumblebee on display now being skewered by Scourge.

Hey now, if they didn't want it to display that way they shouldn't have given me the option.

I do have to say, I'd been tempted by these, and although the assembled kits are smaller than I'd like, the detailing is exquisite.

I think I prefer the Galaxy class kits to the Classics if only because they assemble so quick. Got a Transformers One Hound when I went back for Classic RotB Optimus after getting Movie Prime and Megs, Scourge and Bumblebee earlier in the day.

Might just have to grab one every time I swing by Wal-Mart if they're going to sell those Galaxy kits for $5 all the time.

I just hope we can get the full cast to at least one of the older movies.

My worry is that this will be like Threezero and we just get the Primes, Megs a couple Bees and a Starscream.

And here's the "Dark of the Moon" Megatron that will be released along with Bumblebee.

It depends on what sells. Walmart just had a sale, which kinda tells me that certain characters from certain films aren't moving.

Wal-Mart also hasn't stocked any of the ones they had on sale locally. I've only ever seen Bumblebee and Prime from RotB on the shelves as Classics. The others that were on sale, never been in the stores in my areas at all. Hell the Wal-Mart's in my area haven't even cycled out the Transformers One toys yet.

Looking again at Megs and Bee from DotM, they've hidden that central lighting box a LOT better in these than they did in the others. Scourge, Prime and Bee from RotB you can really see it, the Prime and Megs from 07 did a really good job of it too.

If I get megs though gonna have to make him that cloak. lol

For some reason Walmart has divided the Transformers section into two different types of stores. One sells all of the new stuff including AotP and Studio Series, but the only Blokees they sell is Galaxy blind boxes. The other type only sells the lines for young kids with no AotP or SS and more Blokees. It's a strange strategy; couldn't imagine why they'd do it that way. It's the only line they do that with.

I am always grateful when they remember Bee's shoulder cannons.

Blokees is where it is at right now, loving all this stuff.
