Have you been having trouble booking a hotel room for BotCon 2007? Well you are not alone. Rooms at the Westin Providence Hotel sold out fast. So if you were not one of the lucky ones to book a room, then we have good news for you. The official BotCon website, BotCon.com has updated with news about a second hotel for fans to stay at. Here is what was posted in the update:

"NEW HOTEL ADDED! ROOMS AVAILABLE!
Currently there are two hotels accepting reservations for BotCon 2007:
The Westin is attached to the Rhode Island Convention Center (most activities are in the center).
Also, the Biltmore is a block away (170 yards).
You can then make room reservations by calling (401) 598-8000.
More information about activities and tours will be coming
in a few weeks so check back soon! This is going to be HUGE!

I've stayed at the Biltmore. It's great. They're a little strict with room parties though...

I was just trying to book a room and they are all sold out already!!!!??? :-x

I know this is a nig thing, but sheesh. so are there going to be any other hotles added or what? What else can be done, sleep in my car? I guess it will be warm then so maybe. :sad:

Well time to start looking in the area I guess.

Hey everyone. Looking forward to seeing you all there! I got a room about six miles away, Ill be there June 29. Its my first one! It all looks really cool. Until then, peace.

Edit... if youre still looking for a place to stay, this is where Ill be. 1-401-736-5000 Its a Holiday Inn and Suites, rates started at 129 plus tax per night. With 13% tax per night its 145.77 total. Thats for a room with two queen beds. Hope that helps.
