Our very own Seibertron is in St. Charles right now for Botcon 2015, and has sent us in several images, including the cover, from this year's convention exclusive comic "Cybertron: Most Wanted".

The convention comic also doubles as the program for the convention each year, and the pages also detail some of the souvenir figures and merchandise available for purchase at the show. Thanks to these pages, we now have details on some of the exclusive figures that will be available. These include:

  • A "Generation 2" themed two pack of figures, limited to 1,100 pieces, which Seibertronian Sabrblade reports to be the previously seen Generations Roadbuster repaint as General Optimus Prime, as well as a toy named "Sgt. Hound".
  • A "Diaclone" themed two pack of figures, limited to 1,500 pieces. Sabrblade also informs us that this set is comprised of the previously seen black repaint of Generations Skids, as well as a mostly red repaint of Generations Hoist.
  • A "Waruders" four pack of Generations Waspinator repaints, limited to 2,000 pieces. Images of this set are available below!
  • An "Earth's Most Wanted" set of Kreons, limited to 900 pieces. Images of this set may also be found below. As you can see, some fun characters from the old Generation One Transformers cartoon, like Autobot Spike and Doctor Arkeville, and even Sentinel Prime and The Headmaster from Transformers: Animated are in Kreon form in this fun set.
  • The Convention T-Shirt, hat, and uncut card set that are available for purchase at the show.

A limited amount of this merchandise will be available in the coming weeks on The Official Transformers Collector's Club's website, but only if these don't sell out this weekend at the show itself!

Black Skids is Burnout, Red Hoist is Lift-Ticket.

The yellow Waspinator is based on the Fox Kids Transmetal Waspinator.

The purple/black Waspinator is based on the unreleased Universe (2003) Halloween Horrorcon Transmetal Waspinator.

The red Waspinator is based on Diaclone Warudaros.

The white Waspinator is based on... I don't know what.

Our Botcon 2015 coverage continues tonight, with a special Seibertron.com Gallery of Zaptrap with Beet-Chit, this year's Botcon Attendee Bonus figure. Primus and Golden Ticket package holders can pick up this figure at the show whenever they pick up the rest of their registration package and boxed set.

Some sample images of this Diaclone inspired red repaint of Transformers Generations Legends Class Skrapnel are below, and as you can see, this awesome bonus figure also includes a blue repaint of Generations Chop Shop, and an unnamed red and silver repaint of Generations Reflector. Be sure to check out the entire gallery as well!

Was that ever confirmed by an official source? That strikes me as a very far-fetched theory otherwise. Far easier to believe it's homaging the red/gold TM2 Waspinator.

Also, I'm rather disappointed that there aren't new heads for the waspy army.

Some members of funpub have said, on other sites, that they either dislike the mold, or find it too "difficult".

Four others of these figures are all Diaclone homages.

The Waspinator 4-pack is called "Waruders".

There's no gold on the red Waspinator.

The two Waspinators based on known Waspinator decos both have their decos laid out in pretty much exactly where each color was on the original, so a proper Transmetal Waspinator homage would likely not be as half-baked as this one would be if it were meant to be based on Transmetal Waspinator.

The red Waspinator has all of its colors laid out in accordance to the deco layout of Warudaros with an overall red body, black on the upper torso surrounding dark blue details, gray/silver shoulders/hands/lower torso, striped thighs, teal/blue forearms, and dark blue translucent plastic.

Wow, those are amazingly obscure characters... and Sentinel Prime.

Seriously, this is basically a "bottom of the barrel, last guys you'd ever expect to get toys" set, but then there's Sentinel Prime, which is just hilarious. "You promised you wouldn't laugh!"

Fellow Seibertronian gema brings the final pictorial review of BotCon 2015 exclusives, as confirmed by a recent report from the event here - featuring the Generations Roadbuster redeco into Generation 2 General Optimus Prime, in green camo! Check out thoughts and photos below, and head here for more.

The paint apps and finishing is nicely done and detailed. Even the rims are fully painted.
Not sure about the others but when I first saw him, the camo itself is not enough to identify him. Luckily, the G2 Autobot logo narrowed down the search.

While the original G2 version transformed into a dumper truck, having a new version of General Optimus Prime that transform into a fully weaponize off-road vehichle is not really a bad choice (personally).

Personally, the alt mode is just okay for me, not bad but not great either. But I'm really surprised how the robot mode turn out to be with G2 General Optimus Prime's paint scheme.

Not only he has the same star on the chest just like the unreleased G2 version, the head sculpt does resembles the original mold which can explain why Roadbuster mold was chosen in the first place.

The quality of the figure is pretty much the same as previous variants and the joints are even tighter than my Generations Roadbuster.

I want those bugs :x Adding Reflector in the mix was probably forced, bumping up the value to the standard Scout-Deluxe grey area, and being gang-molded with Skrapnel. :-?

btw Anybody notice that the bio card has no faction symbol of any kind:

Image

Zaptrap himself is more like an animal, with Beet-Chit as his master or "pilot". They have to be from the Diaclone universe, now part of the Cymond cluster along with other TF-related franchises (like Microman, Yuusha/Brave and even Starriors). Can't wait to see the other Souvenirs.

They don't want to mess with the crap shoulder engineering. I'm good with it.

I think General OP is the best-looking version of the Roadbuster mold, by far.

Guys, I may have found the name of the Reflector redeco: Spy-Eye. If it sounds familiar yet a bit lame, you'd be right as that's the name of a Super Gobot:

Spy-Eye on TFU.info.
