Botcon.com has updated their site with the first images of the Botcon exclusive Dreadwind, a repaint of Classics Jetfire, complete with a new, remolded head. See the pics for yourselves over at www.botcon.com.

I am one happy camper for having forked over the money for this years Botcon set! It's nice that they at least gave us a remolded head under the helmet to better fit the Dreadwing look.

Though it was a nice idea, the re-molded head isn't enough to get me excited. Unlike the seekers, Dreadwing isn't iconic enough.

If you read the captions, it actually says this guys name is Dreadwind, not Dreadwing. Here's hoping for a typo. Otherwise he looks good for a toy outside my price range. lol

That's exactly why I love him, because he is a great obscure TF to remake. not like the seekers who, though 'iconic', are just overused, predictable repaints of predictable molds.

For some reason, that quote makes me think Marvin the Paranoid Android. Is this an exaggeration, or is Dreadwind basicly Dead End with wings? I'll admit to not having read the comics.

Yes, that is a good Dreadwind. Here's hoping they make a Classics Darkwing and the combine alt. gimmick exists with the two as it was in the originals.

I wish Hasbro actually put the same level of creativity into their public release line as they do their BotCon sets. It puzzles me why they wouldn't release the repaints to the public. This Classics Dreadwing, along with the other four BotCon exclusives, would sell like hotcakes.
