The much anticipated FansProject Crossfire kits are set to be released in the next few weeks. Aimed at restoring the combiner Revenge of the Fallen Bruticus Maximus, the Crossfire sets feature new parts for Vortex, Onslaught and Brawl, and new weapons for Bruticus as a whole. However the main pieces of the set are the new figures of Swindle and Blast Off. Courtesy of Energon Pub member and Canadian Richter, we get images of the boxes that will house the figures! Check it out below!

Nice shoes. :KREMZEEK:

I love how Blastoff looks more like an unmanned air vehicle rather than an actual tiny space shuttle, suits him and blends better with the other combaticons. I want this set. :CON:

Boxes look decent and look to be a pretty good size.

On a side note - the photographer looks like he needs some new kicks.

*Edit* Damn beaten with the shoe joke

When I first saw the pic, I looked at the box, then looked at the shoe and thought, "Wow! The box is huge!" Then I noticed it was on a stool. "Oh, depth perception."

So do we have a confirmed release date? My shelf-spot for 3rd parties is very vacant...

Nice! I was actually hoping for a little more cohesion with the past releases, but this still look very cool. A little more G1 too, which I certainly don't mind. Eagerly awaiting these sets. Hopefully it does turn out that they are released sooner rather than later. And I have some space on my credit card when it happens.

Cool, this means they should be for sale at Botcon. And since all the die hard collectors ordered online, there hopefully will be a good supply.

I've had mine pre-ordered, which is highly unusual for me.

eh.. I like the Warbot packaging better.. much better...

That said, I can look the other way since the the contents of the packaging are just plain awesome :)

Seeing these is quite nice, but it would be better if they were just shipping.

This is excellent news. Means we're a lot closer to the finished product than we thought.

I'd imagine we will see these in July as it's been suspected.

I highly doubt they'll be ready for a June shipment. Unless they've already begun shipping to BBTS and the like, but we've heard nothing about it yet.

I still want them to get crackin' on Protector and the Wreck-Gar figure.

Yeah i preorderd 2 from BBTS one set to attach to Bruticus and another to keep separate but for some reason i feel like i need a 3rd set for hoarding.

Waiting for these to be shipped is brining back memories of City Commander.

Mike over at Digital-Toys will give me a ring when they are being shipped to him. So I will let you know when that happens.

I've checked my email everyday for the past 2 weeks to see if there's any word from TFsource about these bad boys. I preordered them and I can't wait to make the old "switcharoo" with my ROTF Bruticus.

I agree. The Warbot packaging was really something else. Though I'm guessing that's part of what drove the cost up.

Did anyone else notice that their logo is missing from the corner of the box? You can see the outline for it, but it's not there. What's up with that?

Possibly they are producing silver foil logos to go there. Anti-counterfitting and all that...

do any of you guys get the feeling that some of these 3rd party companies are in cohoots with hasbro/takara? I mean seriously why would these amazing, obviously resembling, figures be able to get out with out these toy factories? They need to make the molds with the plastic and the assembly etc.. You dont mean to tell me some young college kids are makin this stuff at home, do ya? These 3rd party companies are makin way more profet off of our hard earned dollars by jacking up the prices on their side branch 3rd party companies. I say down with third party companies! Hasbro! Give in to our demands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & yes i am very high. But it makes sense, right? :KREMZEEK: :CON: :APPLAUSE: :BOOM:     :ic$: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:

No....

Of course they're using professional equipment and utilizing a factory, even if it's just leasing it out for a single production run or so. They had molds created, etc. College kids can't do something of that level in their dorm room closet, but no one's claimed that FansProject is anything more or less than that.

Wow. Um. Hmm.

Okay...

1.) Hasbro and TakaraTomy have no involvement with these 3rd party companies. Just because they don't prevent them from continuing their business, doesn't mean they're in cahoots or support them.)

2.) Down the the 3rd party folks? No. They're giving us what we want, giving us what we never dreamed of with Hasbro and TakaraTomy. Why on Earth would we want that to change??

3.) To be honest, no, your post doesn't make much sense. Plus mentioning that your high is probably a big no no. (I'm almost certain that discussion of that nature is frowned upon...) And in all honesty, I think you might've gotten a bad batch, because you may not know it, but you're being paranoid here.

Must be strong stuff, lol ;)

EDIT: You've posted this same thing three times, I've counted. It's gone through, seriously. Please stop reposting it. Please? Your posts will end up getting yanked, don't get yourself into trouble, man.

I have my ROTF Bruticus standing on an end table, awaiting the arrival of these preorders as well. I especially appreciate that FansProject feels that these collectibles should not be handled by anyone under 16 years old. It's all about respecting the collectible.

It sounds worrying like secret code for "these figures are incredibly breakable" to me...

You're definitely NOT alone. This is the highlight of my TF shopping this year. Well, this and the Botcon set actually.

They're all labeled that way. It's so they don't fall under the toy safety laws, like tiny things, pointy things, drop-test failing things, etc.

Every FansProject upgrade that I have had (which is everything except the CJ upgrade) is very quality stuff. Even their first full figure defender is grade A.

I own their city commander armor, their Energon Aerialbots upgrades, their classics Prime trailer and Warbot Defender. Each one is high-quality and well worth the money.

I have D.I.A. Commander (Powered Commander, repaint of the City armor) and Warbot Defender and both are definitely solid in the quality department. I have a slight stress mark on the one leg of Commander, but I bent it back just a tiny bit and it's almost completely gone now.

A lot of hard work was put into these guys. They're worth the money.

The images of Bruticus with FansProject's pimp-out look sharp & really make this one of the best looking Transformers I've seen in a long time. So it's music to my ears to hear you guys speak so highly of FansProject & their quality.

After looking at the pictures of Energon Bruticus, I have the urge to get the RoTF version because of how utterly "90's neon colored" applies to the E version.
