These look perfect! Weirdwolf looks much better with his proper head. The color layout is pretty much spot on to the animation models for Headmasters. Blaster looks great! Again, all the attention to detail pays off, even his dot in his tape deck chest window! Rewind's face looks more animation accurate. Wheelie's got his colors in all the right places. The clear plastic dome works much better than Hasbro's smoky gray one. Fortress Maximus looks pretty much perfect. It's a nice representation of his on screen colors without the overly drab pallet of the original Hasbro computer renders and the somewhat overly saturated colors of Hasbro's production models of the same. Glad I have these all pre-ordered!

Me looking at these new reveals:
Would the SDCC version from Hasbro Toy Shop be cheaper if you live in the states and want the sword? Importing a beast liek Fort Max can get pretty pricey.

I thinkI may actually go for the Hasbro Rewind, his face is painted more like the IDW comics. That said, I may get this one anyway because they both look really nice. Im definitely sticking with Takara Wheelie, he looks WAY nicer. I wasn't planning on getting any of the other three due to lack of knowledge of the characters (plus Blaster and Fort Max are super expensive!) but those colors have really drawn me in with Wolfwire. I'll try to get him once he pops up on BBTS.

With Weirdwolf, once again it's a case of Hasbro going for more toy details while Takara tries to keep it as cartoon accurate as possible. The difference are pretty few, though. Both look great, and the Hasbro deco doesn't look overly embellished, and the Takara deco doesn't look too "plain" either. I think it really comes down more or less to which face you like better.

While I appreciate how much more paint is on the takara one, I preffer how he turned out with Hasbro's "less is more" approach. The paint on the takara face throws me off a bit.
Wow, I see no problem sticking to the Hasbro one for this. Especially since a yellow apeface doesnt interest me. Also, its nice to see that both have a nice mix of colour and paint apps, Hasbro even has the shins painted, nice!

Takara's Wheelie definitely wins the "most improved" award. I knew that sculpt had great potential with the Hasbro reveal, and I am please to say that Takara has done just about everything I had hoped they would to make Wheelie's deco on model with the G1 cartoon. About the only thing they didn't significantly change was the "knee caps," though I can see why, as they'd mess with the look of the front of his vehicle mode.

Agreed. That warmer "beige-gray" on the Hasbro version looks a lot cheaper, especially so on Power Master Optimus Prime. I have a feeling that I'll be holding out for Takara's "Ginrai" version of the figure.

I reaaaaaaaaaaaally like the way ALL of the Takara releases look (I am also like "daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn" except Galvatron, I'll stick with Hasbro and the darker color). I just can't justify paying $30 for a deluxe with all of the figures I want to get in the line

I bet you're right WJ, SDCC Fort Max should be cheaper through HTS, but is the only difference going to be that he comes with the sword? Cyberpath, I think you mixed up the pictures for the Hasbro and Takara versions of Titans Return Blaster. The Takara one has the darker grays and the dot on the tape deck window.
