English reviews of WFC Siege Decepticon Phantomstrike Squadron and Commander Class Jetfire

Many fans are looking forward to the Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege WFC-S27 Decepticon Phantomstrike Squadron, and definitely for the WFC-S28 Commander Class Jetfire. While we have gotten numerous in hand photos of the two, today, we have English reviews for them, courtesy of Chefatron. If you forgot, the Decepticon Phantomstrike Squadron has Voyager Class Skywarp, as well as Battle Masters Decepticon Fracas (Scourge's Targetmaster), Shrute (current name for Spinister's Targetmaster, Hairsplitter), and Terror-Daxtyl. Chefatron is very content with the set, enjoying the additional Battle Masters, and appreciating the unified color scheme, a welcome surprise for him. He ends up giving the set a 10 out of 10. Chefatron also has a review up for up for Jetfire, and we can truly see how big he is once again, compared to an upgraded Unite Warriors Computron, who is the same height. We also see an undocumented feature not in the instructions, where he has a removable engine, where a Titan Master/Prime Master could take his place. Chefatron shows to be very pleased by the figure, and also gives the figure a 10 out of 10. The review can be view below!

Well Skywarp looks really great in his purple, silver and "lighter shade of black" deco =P~

I'm seriously looking forward to completing the Seeker set.

I used to not care for Chefatron, but I like how playful he's gotten ;)^

It's nice to see Red Wing and Skywarp has fixed the chest popping action.

You're not alone. I'm quite happy with TR Megatron, so have no desire to replace him with Siege Megs.

You're not alone. I'm quite happy with TR Megatron, so have no desire to replace him with Siege Megs.

Same here. TR Megs is a great figure.
I do want Selects Megatron, but he'll be Megaplex in my collection.

That Jetfire though.......

Got my jet fire in the mail today. I’m still undecided on if I’m keeping him, or making a few bucks on eBay.......

I really kinda want this guy, but the Siege line has been so incredibly disappointing to me, I’m afraid of opening it and being let down.

I'm sure a good deal of Siege's budget has gone into making Jetfire a good figure, there's a high chance you'll like him.

Has QC truly been that bad for Siege? Beside the odd loose single ankle on figures I've had no crummy ones compared to POTP where it seemed like everything was a factory error.

Thundercracker is actually available now in a revision case with Megatron over at Entertainment Earth!

I think they're just perceiving it that way because of brand unification knocking the lenses out of their Cult of Takara goggles.

Only Siege figure I've had QC issues with was my Skytread; everything else has had great QC.

Aww man that’s a bummer I’ve been hardcore diggin’ it so far. What specifically have been the disappointments? The price increase or Legends going away or...?

Everyone’s got a point gang give him a chance to make one. There’s being belligerent and negative or deliberately stirring a hornets nest and the there’s just a guy saying he’s giving the line a chance and has been let down.

And he’s trying to maybe make someone else’s day who got skunked, who knows. I’m just sayin’. ;)^
