YAY!!!
3 Bumblebees for 1 of all the others...

How long do you think it will take this line to get stale on the shelves and the major retailers stop ordering new shipments due to low sales?

Oh Hasbro, will you ever learn?

That's actually a really good deal, provided you can get rid of 2 Bumblebees.

Hey Hasbro, how about I buy these and return all the wave 1 figures I didn't want to a local retailer and screw up your ordering system?

Friggen stupid...

So they have the stock to sell entire cases of figures, but not enough to sell them individually?

man im having a very hard time with this RID line...

so obviously just look at the case with all the deluxes together. its quite clear what figures are best by both toy design and how well they match the cgi models.

essentially as follows:

1. soundwave
2. wheeljack

3. ratchet
4. cliffjumper

5. arcee
6. bumblebee

now my issue is this separation you get. you simply CAN NOT display soundwave or wheeljack, with either arcee or bumblebee. the problem is that rc and bb basically look like the very young kid bots and soundwave and wheeljack look like MPs almost by comparison to their cgi. the transformation schemes on soundwave and wheeljack are also far superior.

-hey 12th grader, design a bumblebee for us.
-hey best designer whos been on our team for 15+ years, design soundwave for us.

collecting the RID line just looks ridiculous because not only are the deluxes all screwed up, but we also get a weird looking powerizer prime (who is a very cool toy just NOT even close to the cgi. FE wins HARDCORE here just as with bb and rc).

this case release really showed me what i already hated about the line but just beware that the line in itself doesnt really flow or look good together.

if you HATE autobots and love decepticons though youre in luck:

soundwave, FE starscream (easy cheap find), powerizer megatron, and RID vehicon, all look phenominal together. youll be happy with your decepticon team AS LONG AS you can grab an FE starscream. and hopefully the voyager dreadwing will fit well. we will have to FORCE knockout just because his toy is awesome. unfortunately his scaling is weird with the team (as is vehicon but hey we gotta do soooomething).

heres the list for a "good" autobot team for prime:
- FE optimus prime
- FE bulkhead
- FE bumblebee
- FE cliffjumper
- RID wheeljack

-youll be upset no matter what arcee you use and ratchet is just bad scale PERIOD. so these two standing by your autobots just make them ALL look weird hah.

its sad to say but through this little write-up I hope i've helped reveal to some ppl how lazy hasbro is getting (do NOT get me started on FOC Bruticus....). and unfortunately we as fans will keep buying :( it really is a vicious cycle.

wait it lists the case as series 01, so are arcee and ratchet a full-fledged wave 2 or just a case revision?

here we go again bumblebee is going to flood the shelves and remain there forever and because of this the later waves will never be released because stores wont order them cause they are overstocked with bumblebees yet again. And its going to be worse this time around since no one is selling this at a good price, at least if one store had them for $10 each then there would be a chance of them being sold. Will hasbro ever learn how to pack case assortments? its not rocket science, ship out an equal amount of each figure then see what sells the best then adjust the cases accordingly. All they ever do is assume and they're always wrong. Im sure even the little kids who like bumblebee are getting sick of him by now.

You know what would have been funny is if Megatron stayed in Bumblebee's body for a while and created evil clones of himself, so when you'd be out hunting for PRID toys then you come upon a row of bumblebees and be like "Oh no its the Bumbletron clone army!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!" lolz 8-}

I saw Prime toy's on retail shelves for the very first time today. However, there was nothing left among the RiD Deluxe but Bee's. A sight, I fear, that is going to become very familiar.

Me: I'd like to buy some RID figures, please.
Hasbro: How many Bumblebees would you like?
M: None.
H: One?
M: No, I said "none".
H: We'll give you 2.
M: I don't want any. They suck and I am sick of Bumblebee.
H: Ok then, 3.
M: #-o

I really like the Wheeljack mold, and I only do G1 and Classics stuff lol. Well done in both Bot and Alt modes, and transform is interesting but not complicated. Check youtube for reviews.

So even the Hasbro-branded store has to acknowledge that the case assortments completely suck, forcing it to sell entire cases to avoid getting stuck with overstock. Awesome. Buy a clue.

1. Buy case assortment.
2. Buy can of black paint, order sheet of Decepticon symbols from Reprolabels.
3. Repaint Bumblebees into Vehicons.
4. Enjoy playing with new custom Vehicons because HASBRO'S EFFED-UP CASE POLICY EFFECTIVELY DESTROYS ALL CHANCE OF EVER GETTING SUBSEQUENT WAVES IN CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES.
5. Save up several paychecks, order real Vehicon figure on eBay.

I am thoroughly confused by Hasbro's distribution methods. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

People always say - "It's the retailers, not Hasbro!". Well, this time, all my local retailers have EMPTY pegs reserved for Transformers - yet there are none. Why are there cases available online, but nothing in stores? I don't get it...
