New images of MP-08 Grimlock, Alernity Megatron, Henkei Cyclonus & Nightstick, Universe Inferno & Ratchet and Disney Label Mickey Mouse have been added to the Feb. issue of Figure King Magazine in Japan.

The MP Grimlock pics show off more size comparisons between MP Grimlock the likes of Computron and G1 Grimlock as well as some of the eye color changing gimmicks along with Grimlocks Weapons.

The second page shows off mostly images we've seen before with the exception of a clearer imgae of Henkei Cyclonus & Nightstick along with a snippet from their up comming Manga.

So Grimlock goes from being Autobot to Decepticon based on eye color changing? I can't remember in the episode Megatron tricks the Dinobots in to "following" him if the Dinobots also changed from blue to red eyes at that time.

I know the Masterpiece line is going off of the G1 cartoons rather than the G1 Marvel comics, but I would really have liked MP Grimlock to come with his own coronation set. The crown he takes to wearing in the Marvel comics was priceless. Maybe a side company will make a replica for it... :-?

Beautiful...is this the first shot we've had of his gun? It's interesting to note that the gun has the same light-up feature as his sword...a GREAT idea as far as I'm concerned.

I am sooooo glad I've got this on preorder..

Me Sledge increasingly interested in him Grimlock. Me Sledge not sure about LED hand gimmick, but glad double-barrelled gun is included.

Amen to that. BBTS is going to have to label their boxes differently so I can sneak them into the house. Not that she cares considering I just hung up my "Seekers" shelf but I know she's aware of the cost of Jap. versions. Oh well, I'll just tell her BBTS stands for Big Bad Shoe Store or something like that.

PS-Grimlock is HUGE compared to the G1 version!!!

I was settled on MP Grimlock when we first saw prototype images. All of these color images just make him all the more epic win. As for Heneki Cyclonus, he beats the energon out of Universe Cyclonus. The paint job is just infinitely better. Both of these guys are pick ups for me!

*edit* Although I would like to see some pics of Grimlock w/the Marvel comics crown. We haven't seen any pics of that for a long while now....

Henkei Cyclonus looks much better than his US counterpart, the paint on hius targetmaster makes all the difference.

He never changed eye color in the cartoon. The reason this toy can do it is because his original G1 toy had red eyes, while his cartoon self had blue eyes. This feature just gives you the option to choose which color you prefer: show-accurate blue, or toy-accurate red.

He's about the same height as Masterpiece Starscream's robot mode.

I've never thought the Henkei line was worth shelling out for but after buying Classics Cyclonus I really can't resist. It's basically a excuse to have Cyclonus and his Armada. Looks like I'm going to pay BBTS a visit.
