It doesnt. Instead, part of the transformation is based on the B127 mold along with the wheels.

Honestly if you told me he was part of the lineup for the WFC game, I would 100% believe it. I dig the look for his robot mode. Looks really sleek.

Technically it can be seen as a reboot of sorts given the actual tone of the film (even if chronologically, it's still part of the same timeline as the others).

I think they will ignore those that came before going forward. And yes, I would have preferred this Bumblebee movie to have been the first live acrion TF movie.

I agree a bit and disagree strongly at the same time. On one hand, sure it would have been better for all the classic fans. But on the other hand we would have missed out greatly on the bold designs and engineering feats that are the Bayformers of the first 5 movies.

So as it is now, we get the best of both worlds.

I'm all for a design that's more than simply folding the top of the vehicle into a shell/cape that hangs on the back. This looks pretty good, and probably the best robot mode matched with that alt mode.

Also, yes, BB Wheeljack looks great. Will likely break down and get him to add to my other Wheeljacks.

No orders up yet since Hasbro has yet to acknowledge/reveal that Sideswipe exists.
