I like the new Takara Age of Extinction Optimus Prime. If there was a little more color on the chest, the figure would look awesome. It's still a great figure.

great is a stretch at this point.. i'll wait 'til i have it in hand to make that decision.. but i can say that the paint job is beautiful.

i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see the prototype for magnus.. i'm so excited for him.

Wheeljack looks awesome. I don't have a lot of the masterpiece figures but I will get him for sure. I like the AOE Optimus. Does the mp Ultra Magnus have trailer? Either way he will be in my collection.

For those still curious about the "Phases" mentioned in these magazine scans, those simply refer to the order in which the items advertised in the magazine are listed on the pages.

Has anyone else noticed that some of the artwork in the TF Legends mobile game seems to VERY accurately represent some of the upcoming figures we've seen photos of? In particular, the upcoming Voyager Jetfire figure looks EXACTLY like the artwork that showed up on the Jetfire card, months ahead of the toy reveal. Now, the latest Ultra Magnus card (from last week's episode of the game) seems to fit EXACTLY to the silhouette of Ultra Magnus here. I wonder if Mobage gets any sort of advanced designs of the figures from TT/Hasbro....

Am I the only one who hates Wheeljack's Hips. It ruins the whole thing for me.

The hips do look a bit awkward - I think they're mis-transformed or not collapsed properly into the body. Compare the pic above to the prototype:

I love that Wheeljack. I pre-ordered on Ebay from seller link listed below for $63.90 shipped with coin from Japan (Toyercity). As you will see the price has increased to $68.90 shipped with coin. They do look reversed in the color pic. It make him look a bit weird. His legs and hips are little spindly in general. But he still looks amazing. Can't wait! :DANCE:

I really hope Wheeljack doesn't suffer from the same problems as MP Rodimus with the chest and backpack locking together. They look similar in design.

well.. considering the datsuns and lamborghini's didn't have a problem with that.. i'd say that wheeljack wouldn't either.. plus.. hot rod had a bunch of panels that folded up onto his back.. wheeljack looks like he only has one.

Plus Rod-In-Ass Prime was about twice the size of Wheeljack, being smaller makes the single panel idea make more sense. A panel that small breaking up into smaller panels is too fidgety for a figure this size.

can any Bumblebee expert tell me where the warriors mask/face is from. This is the first time I'm seeing this that I can remember. Anyways, I really can't wait for Wheeljack and Ultra magnus, Does anyone know if Magnus will be taller than MP10?

Again, it's based on the face of the original G1 toy:

That head design was also used for his rebuilt form, Goldbug.

Ultra Magnus will likely be somewhat taller than Optimus Prime.

Based on the siloutte it looks like 1/2 head taller than Optimus Prime. I wonder if Ultra Magnus's head will be part of the cab, instead of a head shell that fits over an Optimus Prime head (like the G1 version).

The more I think about it - will the cab transform differently? I don't see how the Optimus Prime cab can have the arms stored in cab mode without exposing the front wheels and other parts, which will hinder movement.
