Thanks to TakaraTomyMall, we have new listings for some of the harder to find Transformers Rise of the Beasts toyline figures available for those who are trying to hunt them down.

The new listings include the hard to find Battlemaster Airazor, Battle Changers Scourge, Beast Combiner Optimus Prime with Lionblade, Beast Weaponizers Arcee with Cheetor, and the solo release of deluxe class Mirage. The new listings also include the pretty ubiquitous voyager class Rhinox.

Another one that has been hard to find is the Optimus Primal Battle Master. I've gotten the deluxe Mirage and Weaponizer Arcee.

I finally got in a Battlemaster Arcee.

One immediate problem was she does not have her bike front. That is really annoying. But, I kinda don't care too much, she shines in bot mode, and her bike front would just make her more kibbly. I like her as she is.

I also have her my other cheetor, it gives her Prime Arcee like arm blades.

She also looks really good with smash changer Rhinox, who is proving to be one of my favorites from the line. He is very versatile with photos, and his Rhino mode just rules.

I really wish they would have replaced the gray on the included Cheetor with another shade of yellow or orange or even just inverted the colors, anything other than making it look like a KO of the single figure would have been better.

I would have preferred that vehicle mode over what we got in the movie. It would have also be a great Beast Hunters reference.

Upgrading into that form, even temporarily through some Transwarp Key shenanigans (it's a TF movie, it doesn't have to make sense) for the climax would have been better than Scourge being suddenly weaker despite being closer to Unicron. Surely they must have planned to use that design at some point in the movie, why else would they have made so many figures based on it?

ROTB orange Ironhide bought at Ross alongside Legacy Buzzsaw. I never saw any of the Autobots subline anywhere till now apart from seeing an Optimus at Toy de Jour.

I just got the small ROTB Pablo with Rhinox Targetmaster, plus an extra T. Rhinox.

With the extra T.Rhinox, Pablo can DOUBLE COCK-N-BALLS!

Pablo's transformation is a wee bit fiddly, but is very well done and "complete". His only overall flaw is the lack of paint.

Also, the rhinos are surprisingly in scale with Pablo's vehicle.

Man I wish I had a local Ross. T.J. Maxx may be the same company, but they rarely get anything worthwhile. Checking last Sunday they didn't have a single Transformer, they barely had any brand name toys of any kind, mostly generic stuff.

I rarely get to see anything new at Ross, and that Battletrap is one of the 4 figures I still want from the line. Ugh!

I had Beast Combiner Optimus Prime and Lionizer in hand today at Target. Right before I was going to check out I noticed some angelic Cherub had pulled off Lionizer's head and it was lost. I had no time to find an employee to see if they had another one in the back or inform them of the vandalism. This will probably be the ONLY time I'll see the figure and the only way I'd be able to get it at US retail.

It's available at Canadian Amazon but I dunno if you'll be able to import it.

I found Battletrap at a Ross! Super glad to have him, this mold is fun, and looks good in orange. And it also means I finally have the big 3 Terrorcons in mainline form, which look especially good in alt mode.

Also, have some Birdgun

also also, Mainline Prime looks great with the Axe. Mainline prime is still far and away the superior toy

So, I somehow completely missed this, but I found this Funko RotB Prime with a T-shirt at Target. I got it because they had my size. The shirt is actually pretty cute, and Prime will be a nice little addition to my small novelty funko shelf

I finally got the big Takara Primal, and he is really neat. THIS is the Primal toy we really needed. I love this thing. He is very much a fun toy, and I love both the size and the stuff he can do. He is still pretty simple, but that is not a bad thing, he's good and fun!

He is awesome but there's one glaring flaw. That neck-head panel for bot mode is ultra tight. So tight that I didn't know the thing moved so I couldn't properly get to the gorilla mode. After a video, I learned how the thing worked. But that panel is relatively thin and you must FORCE-SNAP it in place. That's a scary step.

Appart that, this leader FELLS and have the SIZE of a "real" leader. Nice.
