Hasbro will release full length episodic Transformers Robots in Disguise content on the platform every two weeks.
Following content partnerships for the My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop brands, Hasbro has once again teamed up with digital kids engagement platform SuperAwesome to deliver Transformers branded content.
SuperAwesome’s platform reaches over a quarter of a billion kids each month around the world and is used by hundreds of brands for safe digital advertising and branded content delivery to the under-13 audience.
As part of this campaign, Hasbro will release full length episodic Transformers Robots in Disguise content on the platform every two weeks.
Kids can also enter competitions, meet the bots, play games, download Transformers content, and choose a side in the Autobots v Decepticons battle.
The branded Transformers content will also appear on an integrated ‘Drive in Cinema’ section on the Bin Weevils virtual world, dedicated to the Transformers brand.
“As one of the most innovative companies in the toy market, we’re extremely excited to be working with Hasbro on this Transformers content partnership," said Dylan Collins, SuperAwesome CEO.
"Hasbro realise that kids need to engage with content in multiple locations and devices and this is the perfect way to achieve that objective.”
This latest activity complements the companies’ existing partnerships as Hasbro is also using SuperAwesome’s Kids Web Services platform to power its My Little Pony Friendship Club site in the UK, Italy and France.
Craig Wilkins, marketing director, Hasbro UK & Ireland, added: “Transformers has always been a hugely popular brand for kids across the country, capturing audience’s imaginations for over 30 years.
"SuperAwesome is the perfect partner to bring this exciting brand to life for an increasingly digital generation and introduce Transformers on a unique, interactive level.”

Fellow Seibertronians, a short clip from the upcoming sixth episode of the new season of Transformers: Robots in Disguise has been uploaded to YouTube. The synopsis has been left below, although, it doesn't seem to have any link to the preview, which involves 'Bee, Strongarm and Grimlock attempting to capture a Mini-con that has the ability to blind opponents. So check out the video and let us know what you think in the comments below.
Grimlock's attempt to make himself smarter by transferring all the information in a Cybertronian data cylinder directly into his brain goes horribly awry, leaving his team at a disadvantage against genius ape Decepticon Simacore.

This sounds vaguely reminiscent of the G1 cartoon episode where Grimlock made the Technobots, I hope by 'horribly awry' they mean this episode is hilarious, been extremely let down by this season so far

That Mini-Con looks to be a remold of Airazor.

It sounds like a cross between that episode ("Grimlock's New Brain") and the TF: Prime episode where Bulkhead gets a massive data upload into his brain from a data cylinder ("T.M.I.").Hellscream9999 wrote:This sounds vaguely reminiscent of the G1 cartoon episode where Grimlock made the Technobots,

Sure, but they really couldn't have come up with something more original than mashing together the plots of two very known episodes (one from the very previous series, even)?Hellscream9999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:That Mini-Con looks to be a remold of Airazor.

I prefer that to the near-ceaseless whining about o/p that the season has been so far, but I agree

good episode! but basically it's Grimlock's New Brain!(sadly no Technobots were created this time) Simacore(a recycled Ground Pounder) + minicons Axiom & Theorum were ok.
meanwhile minicon Tor-Pur got little screentime at the start.

Since Steeljaw, Kickback, Glowstrike, and Sabrehorn infiltrate the scrapyard, which will most likely be a success, now that Bumblebee and his team are already on the Decepticon Island where they will meet its dictator, Scorponok, here are my predictions on what most likely will happen in next week's episode, "Misdirection,":
1. All or most of the Cons will be successfully freed, since Steelaw promised that he will indeed release all of them.
2. Filch will show her human form for the very first time.
3. Pseudo finally gets a vehicle mode.
4. Malador and Nightstrike will transform into their given vehicle modes.
5. Brand-new Cons will likely appear and be mostly likely very challenging and nearly indestructible, quite simlar to Megatron.

I know what I said, but I've got to do this:
How do you know this? Where's your evidence to back up this? And maybe they don't infilitrate it, maybe they just will bomb the place, if those stasis pods can handle crash landing, incendiaries won't hurt em.
How do you know this? Where's your evidence to back up this? And they are not on Decepticon island in this episode.
There's no reason to believe that, you've been claiming that's what'll happen since the third episode!
We've gone over this! He doesn't have a vehicle mode, he's got a default robot form, but can shapeshift into any other robot or vehicle.
Betting you those two never show up again, short of background cameos.
Bahahahaha! Have you watched this show? The Decepticons, no matter how powerful, have never been this easily beaten since G1!
Psj, I get you love this show to death, perhaps bordering on necrophilia. But this is getting ridiculous, not one of your theories has once panned out, your voice does not represent the RID fandom, heck, there barely is a fandom, and also, the vehicle modes don't matter.

You wanna know? Here the proof from tfwiki.net/wiki/Misdirection:
"New clues emerge about Decepticon Island and Steeljaw creates a plan to infiltrate the scrapyard while Bumblebee, Grimlock and Strongarm confront the leader of the island."
This is the official synopsis for #7 Misdirection.
This episode airs today for those who are living in the U.K. Therefore if you find anybody who has the video link for that episode after it airs, please post it up so that we can view it online.
Well, they might, someday. You'll never know.
Well, we'll see about that, when I get in there and tear that argument into threads in the near future.

No...that's the TFwiki's summary. You're blowing the context of what they are saying out of proportion. New clues means they probably only find out there is some haven for Decepticons. Steeljaw probably is only planning and working with the new Cons, not acting yet. And the home team probably meets Scorpinok for the first time. That's probably it.
Okay there, that is a reasonable sentence. There's a chance we'll see them again sometime, but don't automatically assume every episode is going to reveal something amazing
What argument?

Does anyone have a video clip of episode 7 "Misdirection" that was aired earlier today for those living in the UK? If you find it from anyone, please post it up for everyone to watch.

just watched episode 7 & it was quite good, as we get to see our first good look at Scorponok(+ he had some nameless minicons with him), also Crazybolt makes a return, meanwhile Steeljaw frees all the captured deceptions back at the scrapyard(most of them assume their vehicle modes except for 2....Overload & Groundpounder!...still haven't seen Overload's vehicle mode in the cartoon yet! hopefully one day we'll get to see it).
all in all...not a bad episode

Not just nameless! Those were Bludgeon model Minicons.
And all of them are characters whose vehicle modes are already known.

You know what? I did too. But I just wish that Steeljaw would release more Decepticons in the near future to form his own guerilla force. But he didn't. Did he really do it on purpose? Or is this just the beginning, and there are more on the way? Well, perhaps, we'll most likely see them all in the season 2 finale, "Decepticon Island", except for Scorponok, since that he did turned his back on Steeljaw. Oh. wait a second. Did Crazybolt also betrayed Steeljaw as well?

I watched it as well. Thank goodness for friends in the UK making these available online. When its all said & done. CN US will only be airing the finale about a month behind (not as bad as the 4 month delay last year after Australia iTunes made most of them available way early LOL!)
Anyway... I dunno... Scorponok getting beaten and basically taken out of the whole story as easily as he did really didn't impress me. Sure I know they have to devise a way in very little time for Steeljaw to take over, but man, it made Scorponok look weak.
I like that the Team Bee episodes progress the Decepticon island story, but I am definitely more a fan of the Team Prime episodes (Of which we have basically only seen 2) I hope we at least get one more before the two part finale where they will no doubt bring everyone back together. Also...I have this dreadful feeling that we are never going to get any more background on Fixit, or why Decepticons not on the prisoner manifest keep showing up.
In an odd way...It feels like IDW with MTMTE & RiD. If CN weren't such an awful entity they definitely could have built 2 series out of this, or at least extended the season to a full 26 episodes (as it should have been), but oh well...Hasbro apparently has a short memory (Cancellation of TFA anyone???). Transformers had a safe spot on Discovery Family, Rescue Bots is starting it's 4th season for Cybertron's sake! It never even would have gotten a 2nd season on CN!

For Episodes 12 & 13 for Decepticon Island, Steeljaw has finally created his ultimate Decepticon guerilla army to fight against the Autobots. This is what Steeljaw should have done back then on Cybertron. Does this mean that Steeljaw will free more Decepticons from the scrapeyard (excluding Scorponok and Crazybolt, since that they have betrayed Steeljaw, and that their pods have modified locks so that they cannot use subsonics to get out), or the brand new Cons that we have never heard of before, or a bit of both?
