Earlier today (Friday, July 16th) Hasbro inc. made its second quarter over 2004 sales report public. Although overal income for the company is up from $11.4 million last year to $18.8 million this year, it reported that overall sales of their 'boys toys' market is down from $203.8 million last year to $179.2 million this year. This drop in sales over the boys market was mostly due to the weak performance of the Beyblade brand, which lost $47 million over the last year.
