A UK Transformers fan and looking for some pint sized fun? Upset that other countries can go to their local store and pick these up? Well don't despair, as just in time for Christmas, the Botbots have landed at Symths Toys Superstore! The sighting was made by yours truly at the Symths Toys Superstore in Portrack Lane, Stockton on Tees.

While only the five and eight packs are pictured here, which are priced £9.99 and £14.99 respectively, they did have the £2.99 blind bags available as well. The full website listings are here.

Happy Hunting!

Found this little mech suit at my local thrift store. Worth the $0.52 I paid for it. Now Coco really is crazy.

Hey fellow collectors. I stumbled onto a tip that could save us a few buck by avoiding duplicate blind bags/boxes. Anyo else tried it?

Has anyone come up with a good way for Megatron's head not to droop in Robot mode?

That's great to know. I was sure I wasn't the only one who figured it out but just in case there were others I wanted to make sure. A penny saved...and all that.

Normally Big Lots is a good place to look for older toys and potato chips from brands you've never heard of, but look at this, something new! Thanks to a sighting by our very own xRotorstormx of the Twincast Podcast crew we have news of the BotBots 5-packs showing up at Big Lots. Priced at $10 and appearing before most major retailers the 5-packs feature four visible figures and one secret figure under the red bubble, similar to the single figures that started showing up during the holidays.

Have you found these at any other retailers? Be sure to pass your sightings on to the news crew here and post them in the Energon Pub below.

Big Lots used to have the coolest TF KOs about 17-12 years ago, until Hasbro cracked down on the Operation Combination/upscaled Cybertron Legends KOs, kiboshing the greatest army-builder ever knocked off: red and yellow Tetra-seekers in scale with Titanium. Perhaps not that relevant, but a sore spot for me given the news about Hasbro's legal victory in China, and the fact that in exchange, we hardly got jack for official TFs in Big Lots.

But now, FINALLY, I have reason to go there again, so...yay.

Those Big Lots KOs were about the only KOs I'd tolerate since they're mostly garbage and aren't intended to replace or substitute official products the way "G1 reissue" KOs and OSKOs are. Most of the Big Lots KOs I have I already have the original and only buy them as novelties for their bright colors and weird dumbed down transformations.

I'll be at Big Lots next week, hope to find some of BotBots then.

Nobeeoh is my daughters favorite. She and I were down in the basement on Saturday playing with our collection of BotBots and TF's. Everyone we were playing with had to get an application of deodorant including my daughter and myself. My daughter was cackling so loud my wife came down to see what was so funny, and immediately got her own application of deodorant.

So we knew the new year would bring about more Botbots, but that was all we knew, until now. Hasbro has updated their Australian site to include 4 new 5 packs which include new Botbots. 2 of those are new molds, and include a rolling pin and mixer. Both of those feature the colour change gimmick, which may be similar to the good old rub stamp effect. Both of these new molds are included in each of the 5 packs. The rest of the packs vary between redecos of previous Botbots including the soap dispensor in white and the pizza bot turned into a pie bot (the later works really well as a redeco). The packaging hints at even more redecos such as a white version of the book Botbot.

You can find all the images below which are followed by a full product description from the Hasbro site.

I honestly don't care for these things. Having "official" transformers that turn into food and other "disposable" items just seems odd. If they weren't labelled as Transformers, or were explained away as being completely mechanical, with fake (food) disguises (or were monsters and robots from somewhere else), then I'd be more interested. The other main reason though, is that I can't understand what the bot or alt modes are meant to be half of the time.
