I was kinda surprised to see Optimus had basically no kibble in the actual movie trailer, given how much his toys have.

The trailer was alright, if not like a big run-on sentence. This 'first edition' Prime still looks like poo...

Y'know, for $60.00...they could've chromed all of his gray parts. Would've made the price justifiable. As is, he reeks of knock off. There's a bin at the 99 cent store just waiting for him, only to find out he's a legit product and everyone goes "Whoa. Strange things are afoot at the Circle K."

I can't believe I'm contemplating buying this figure. I kinda like the look of it but would prefer the face plate. DOTM Prime was good and I really liked the Deluxe version. I am intrigued by the 15 steps transformation.

There are two things that could possibly sway me to buy this figure:
A good video review with a nice transformation sequence.
&
A sale to clear out the overstock, which Amazon is known to do. A lot.
I won't pay full price for it, no way, no how. Plus, I'd like to see one without chrome. I think plain, painted plastic would work better. As is, this is just bad looking. Even if I could get past the mold, that deco hurts. So bad.

I buy things I have "only" seen pictures of all the time. It's called the Internet, and online shopping.
I have seen more than enough to know I do not want this embarrassment toy. If one comes along that is actually geared at people that don't suffer from the effects of a lobotomy, and it is screen accurate, then I may consider it. It's real easy for me. No matter what character it is supposed to be, if I don't like it, I don't buy it.

Backpack alert!
Those long blue pieces hanging down, you would think they would fold up to cover the tyres, as the tyres look thin enough to fit in, which would help to tidy up the backpack/kibble?

Then HasTak would of had to change the 15 steps conversions words to 16 steps.
Perhaps the Extra conversion step would have made this too complex for HasTak's targeted kids buyers age to play with.
3rd party companies are bound to create a jetpack to fit over the backpack of this toy to make it look better.
My AOE FE Optimus arrived in the mail today. It came in a really narrow short compact brown shipping box. When I saw this,I thought Amazon got my order wrong. Hasbro Also put this toy in a really compact Ultra sized box.

I can't seem to care enough for the movie toyline to start getting any. This one looks pretty good but that pack is doing too much.

Found this picture on Planet Iacon. A collector took his Optimus apart to yield a robot and vehicle. Shellformer indeed.

Wow.
Guess the Wiki can replace the Shell-former/Kibble page's main pic.
