Usually if they have a sale running when SDCC exclusives are available the fine print will have a line that says something like "excludes Hasbrotoyshop.com exclusives" so it probably wouldn't have done any good.

On the plus side with this sale you can get all of the Protectobots (minus Groove who is sold out) for $75 and free shipping.

Buying buying? Kind of tempted.. now that Hasbro showed their hands at SDCC... BBTS attempt to get rid of stock cause I bet they know Takara will probably make it right.

All I can say is:
Hasbro's Scattorshot is as weak as can be. I own Quantron, he's finicky but brilliant. If you're on the fence, this price should shake you into action. Totally worth it IMO.

Only Amazon Prime Day TF deal I can find hasn't started yet. That said, it's a Lightning Deal that starts at Noon Eastern time for TF Prime Voyager Predaking. No indication of what the price will be (I'd guess $9.99 but that is purely speculatio). Also keep in mind how Lightning Deals work - only a certain quantity will be available at that price. Could be thousands of 'em, could be 10.

Idk if anyone cares about that toy anymore, but maybe if I pay it forward on this one someone will give me a heads up on something else cool during Prime Day :lol:

Edit: apparently Covenant of Primus is also going on a Lightning Deal sale at that time. The book is, by my own account, "not bad".

Ok, so the Voyager Predaking deal isn't that great, but Covenant of Primus is $30 for the next four hours or until the deal is completely claimed. That's a good price!

There isn't that much on Amazon Prime Day in terms of Transformers deals - however, two Lightning Deals started at Noon Eastern time for TF Prime Voyager Predaking and the Covenant of Primus, as notified by podcaster xRotorstormx.

The two items will be at the reduced price of $29.99 for the book and $16.99 for the toy - only for a couple more hours, and with limited quantities in stock! As fellow Seibertron.com member ScottyP said: "Could be thousands of 'em, could be 10".

I didn't want TF Prime Predaking a year ago, and I don't want him now. Why bother putting him on sale? Everyone who wanted him picked him up already...

I get you, but I feel every toy has a demand at a certain price. I was not going to buy those Go predacons. But the prices kept dropping and dropping to the point where I felt compelled to buy them. They were cheaper shipped than me buying the Hasbro version at a store. So I bit and I didnt regret it.

Ha, I picked up a couple go pedacons for the same reason. I didn't own any of the molds and the price point was just too good to pass up. Still waiting on Bakudora to hit that magical impulse price point. I just have them hanging around randomly looking menacing.

Haha! yeah thats the only one which doesnt sell for as cheap. And its interesting since the Hasbro version sold out far more quickly than the others. I dont know if it was limited. This is the superior mold of the bunch and I much preffer that Takara headsculpt over what Hasbro gave us.

Bakudora is the best looking one, but ended up being my least favorite. It has loose joints and is a good bit more fiddly than the others.

Still, I'm with you guys on the GO! beasts. They're awesome, and I really prefer the face sculpts to the Hasbro ones. A great, cost efficient way to get these molds on peoples' shelves.



Also, I hated, hated the Covenant of Primus. The actual fiction/content was just so poorly conceived and executed, in my opinion (the overall package, however, is great). But for $30, how could I say no? :CON:

Pretty much agree here. It's not exactly badly written (look for Exodus for that kind of thing), but it's ..just.. not a good story. Shame, because the art, design and feel of the book are great.

Completely unrelated to Prime Day but I got a notification from Camel Tracker that Legends Skywarp came in stock. By the time I got to Amazon it was gone but keep your eyes peeled.
