Human Alliance Basic - Autobot Whirl New Pics

Hmm, he IS cool except for the completely wrong head, isn't he?

So, do I sense a Gyro 2.0 upgrade kit on the horizon, Headrobots?

He's got the "right" proportions, seems to follow the "Classics" aesthetic and resembles the original Whirl in many aspects. Plus, by having a human partner, recreates the whole Dorvack (and Diaclone) deal of being manned robots. We've got a full circle right there. But it has two major (or minor if you can handle changes) downsides: having a different deco than the original Whirl, the head and if you want to get nitpicky, the original Dorvack toy had a girl pilot. At least in fiction.
All those "flaws" aside, I want this guy .

These new "scout class" Human Alliance figures are a blight to an otherwise amazing Human Alliance toyline. They dont even look like Transformers, but rather a completely new cheesy toyline with unrealistic alt modes. I will not buy these and insult my Pontiac Solstic fig.
