I already own volumes 1 and 2 (and 3-8), so if there's no new content, I'll be saving myself the money.

I bought all the comics last May, so this is nothing new either. Either way though, that is a lot of comic. And I bought all the comics for around $300 (from inception of IDW transformers all the way to the current ongoings, which I already had). Well worth it too

That's a steep price for a compendium and I'm a sucker for them but wow. Beast wars one was $25 years ago.

Well I may be slightly off, but if it contains everything they describe, this would have been about 34 (ish) individual comics (I have them all, but haven't read them in years) *$4 each (original retail), would be about $136.00 originally, so $80 for the compendium would be nice for anyone who didn't purchase the original comics, or the Collected Volumes 1&2.
The Beast Wars was only comprised of 2 4-issue mini series (a total of 8 comics) retail value for individuals would have been $32, so a $25 Compendium makes sense.
