IDW & Transformers top of the iTunes charts

In the first two weeks since IDW Publishing first posted their Transformers ROTF prequel comics on the iTunes Apps both the Transformers Alliance and Defiance series have been top sellers, taking out 12 of the top 20 positions on the iTunes Applications store.

IDW's Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall has posted images from the iTunes store on his blog RyallTime showcasing the sales results.

Coming in at the top spot was Transformers Alliance #1, with issues #2, #3 #4 taking spots 3, 4, and 5.
Defiance issue #1 took out the 11th position with Defiance issues #2-#4 taking out the subsequent positions of 12th through to 14th.
The Official ROTF Movie Adaptation had issue #1 take out 10th position, with issues #2, #3, and #4 taking out 15th, 16th and 17th on the sales chart.

Each issue cost US$0.99 and are available now to download from the iTunes Store.
