Interesting, but how is this news?

WOAH, that 5th pic: Takara did a slightly-transforming Chibi-Scopedog?!? This makes me want to see not only the alt mode (sadly cut off at the bottom), but 'Space Transformers'/'Micro-Commando Diatron-5' (OSLT) again. The Camera Robot that (unofficial) Harulu rides around on while it's folded down stood out as being the only ripped-off giant robot design that wasn't a Diaclone toy, but THAT toy makes me wonder if that cartoon was a somehow-semi-legit promotion for Takara toys being sold in Korea at the time. Now I'm wondering if Baipam was also based on a Takara product, and not just a generic SD Gundam. If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about, please let me know.
And dangit, I want the Godzilla and Gamera watches just so I can display them inside my Tom Servo head.

Well, I don't think these show up for auction every day.RodimusPrimeUkraine1 wrote:Interesting, but how is this news?

Hold up, were those Godzilla and Gamera watches actually made and released? Also, what’s with Anguirus and Red King on that other page? Really hope to someday see full scans of this.
Biggest surprise is those ball Transformers from Kiss Players being here. I did not expect those molds to originate all that way from the Diaclone era.
EDIT: Found what looks to be that Gamera watch, and it is indeed from Takara. However, unlike the art here where the actual watch itself turns into Gamera, it looks like there was a separate transforming mini figure that attached to the watch band. Honestly the biggest shock to me is the fact that there were both Godzilla and Gamera (and also Ultraman by the looks of it) toys made by a company that wasn’t Bandai.

Seibertron is not just a news site, it's a Transformers info resource.

I'm less interested in the Micro Change and Diaclone figures and more interested in the Choro Q pictures. More of those please!

Everyone time I see Construction Robo, I wish the Shattered Glass Constructicons used that Deco set instead of the more generic "Emergency Vehicle White and Red."

I really enjoy seeing Diaclone/G1 promotional material. I didn't know about those "bot-shot" like figures. I also think that the Godzilla watch looks really awesome.

Harmony Gold losing their s#!t over the head design would be icing on the cake.

I half agree with you. If the CW Constructicons ever get retooled into toys for this new Shattered Glass, I can only back Mister Hard Hat:Gearslide wrote:Everyone time I see Construction Robo, I wish the Shattered Glass Constructicons used that Deco set instead of the more generic "Emergency Vehicle White and Red."

Wow I have that Giant Gorg anime on DVD....one of many I need to finish at some point. That catalogue is awesome, but holy cannolis! $4,500! ... even if it is the last surviving copy, that's way out of most people's price range....I'll be shocked if it sells for that price.

Neat! I'm especially curious about the Cassete vehicles from Micro-Change; wonder if those could ever appear in Transformers media, possibly as Cybertronian vehicles.

Yup, and the whole set of 4 Choro-Q Robo figures was rereleased a few years ago so you can still find them for sale online quite easily.
Lol and I thought i was the only one. Always a pleasure to see new photos of the 2cm Choro-Q 'child' series, but my holy grail is the Watch-Q series. I saw them displayed at a watch retailer back in the early 80s and every time i walked pass the shop, i'd spend a few moments staring at them. They still cost over $200 when they pop up on auctions these days.

Probably because it's an interesting slice of history in the hobby we all enjoy. Plus, as pointed out by others, Seibertron is an information resource for us all. It'd be remiss of them not to gather fresh information and let us know about it! I'm certainly glad it's front paged!

Quite interesting to see, especially Takara owning a license for Ultraman (Tsubaraya Productions) and Godzilla (Toho Co. Ltd.) characters instead of the typical Bandai. And Combat Joe is featured too? That's G.I. Joe, kinda a reversal from the typical Japan to the US

How about I meet you halfway on your half-agree and they use the deco for the Construction Robo variant with Blue Mixmaster and Hook:
