We've received news via a toy blog of a slew of in-hand images for Comicave Studio's Optimus Prime figure! The figure is 1/22 scale, very film-accurate in sculpt and paintwork, and features a 50% die-cast metal construction, LED-lighted eyes, as well as various accessories and swappable hands. That is so damn beautiful. Don't even care that it don't transform if it means getting the robot mode that glorious. Right, so can someone lend me $400? I'll pay you back in weekly installments of one dollar.
A year later, and at the next Toy Fair in New York, we have another Comicave 1/22 scale collectable figure of Optimus Prime. The figures is a 50% die-cast metal, fully articulated figurine with interchangeable accessories, and LED light features in the eyes. At over 15 inches in height, it weighs close to 3.5 pounds (1.6 kg).
