It's the figure that many fans have been holding out for. And with a new day ushers in new photos of the much anticipated Takara Leader Class Jetwing Optimus Prime. These photos from AC-Toys show the Autobot leader decked out with dual machine guns, and jet-pack weaponry.

This figure is exclusive to Takara Tomy, and the base figure is ROTF Buster Optimus Prime without the shiny silver paint job. This is confirmed from the fact that the 2 gas tanks that transform to hand guns are present in this figure.

Small modification on the figure is noted especially on the stomach of Optimus Prime. This may lead to the possibility of the Jetwing parts being incompatible with the old Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Optimus Prime mold. His backpack, unlike Hasbro's Ultimate version, does not form a trailer, but instead folds into an arsenal for Prime's vehicle mode. Check out the images below!

It's exclusive for now, but I wouldn't be surprised if we receive at least the core figure as a store exclusive somewhere here in the States.

I'm definitely getting this when it hits singapore!

Most likely $120 or so.

Buster Prime on his own went for about $80.00 after import, with this massive accessory piece, I could see it easily going for $120.00

We haven't had this one. This has the transformable gun, plus the redesigned chest. Might even have the redesigned arms (like the CGI), so technically, no. We don't have this one.

If you look closely at the back of the box, you'll see a pic in the upper right corner that looks like a removeable gas tank, so it looks like it.

Unless they just release the wings, im not getting another ROTF prime cos i have buster already. and butterfly prime looks better than this (in powered mode) IMO

This. Buster Prime looks better than this one without the jetpack, and if I wanted a jetwing Prime, I'd get one where the pieces form a trailer. Unless a mighty trailer for ROTF Prime is made, I guess its the Ultimate for me.

Hey all, Before you make up your mind to buy this figure, Let me remind you that there are/were some flaws about this figure.

Why not to buy.

1: No moveable fingers.
2: Green light lights up in Head. "While saying i am Optimus Prime"
3: Transparent windows.
4: No crome or metallic paint.
5: Leg and arms articulation is very less.
6: Smokestacks are short.

Why to buy.

1: Mechtech and Mechalive gears technology together in this figure.
2: Mechtech Jetwing pack.
3: Modified chest.

Now it is up to you if you want to buy. If you dont have this figure then buy it on sight. If you have the ROTF Leader OP figure then think again, You can get another leader class figure in that amount of cash.

BTW, Does this figure have any Mechtech port?

How are you so sure of the 'why not to buy' part? Have you seen this thing in real life? or do you have pictures of it that shows that?
