I think the best part is when the interviewer says "as usual, fans are split down the middle".

I'm curious as to where the numbers are that state this.

The story BEFORE the Great War huh? Rise of Megatron? That would be a very interesting line...Guardian robots, Alpha Trion maybe? Maybe the original 13 TF's eventually? There is a LOT to explore back then. Which direction would they go though with these origins? the IDW/DW direction with a long line of Primes? Or the cartoon line, where Optimus is a rebuild of a more primitive unit? It leaves a lot of potential for speculation if it happens.
