Kingdom Titan Class THE ARK video review

I have had my pre-order in for a while. I was actually impressed it is as tall as Omega Supreme in Robot Mode (though I disagree with PvP, Omega has way more engineering, The Ark is pretty simple). But I'm still looking forward to it. Mainframe/Teletran-1 is pretty cool as well.

Not only am I excited and looking forward to his release, I already paid for my pre-order on Amazon using gift cards. This will be my second titan and my first Autobot titan so I'm glad it is something off the wall like the Ark itself. As TFWiki shows, the Transformers universe is a multi-verse and I don't view the WfC Trilogy as 'true' G1 or Beast Wars. So any and all deviances from the originals do not bother me like the Ark only having four thrusters instead of five and Mainframe also being Teletraan-1. I like alternate takes and the multi-versal outlook so all can exist at the same time.

Another early review, this time Road Rage from Chefatron. Will this better look change your opinion of her WJ?

Maybe, maybe not. It could also be an artful dodge. Technically Black Zarak comes out after the Ark.

There will be another Metroplex, someday, somehow. Maybe it'll be another decade, but I have faith he'll be back.

Because let's be honest here. Generations Metroplex is a bad figure.

I would say no new Titans at retail for at least a year or two. Most leakers have said about the two commanders for next year. I do fully expect them to do a cartoon accurate metroplex with a metrotitan selects

The Original Metroplex wasn't that great either, honestly, although as a kid I loved it. I certainly don't think it will take until 2034 to get another one, but I'd rather us get at least one go with as many titans as possible before we start the whole cycle over again. One way they could go about it, that would be awesome, is if in another 2-3 years we finally got an Awesome new Metrotitan, with the guaranty that it would then be repainted as Metroplex in the near future after that. As opposed to getting Metrotitan repaint from T30.

It's the right time to sell the thing. For some reasons, he became highly desirable and can be sold easily for between 400$ and 500$. So anyone who don't really like their Gen Metroplex like me can do as I did and sell the thing to buy the Ark, Commander Rodimus, and some more bots.

Hoping for a selects main frame in his action master colors.

The Ark feels like its heavy dependant on upgrade kits as per most titans. Not keen on the space ship legs and they could have engineered something to cover the side hollows. The little turrets just being sculpted detail sucks and showing once again that modern figures have some failings comppared to older toys. the grey area on teh ship looks like it should do something and there doesnt seem to be be any 'breast force' or even soundwave eject action going on for mainframe and the arks bot mode.

If it hits trypticon price drop lows then I'm not going to be able to say no but I think I'd rather have other things on display for the amount of space it will take up.

As I stated above, I just got mine 2 years ago, so yeah I was looking at similar prices. I was just patient and happened to find a good deal. If I didn't have it already, I'd still be patiently looking online rather than demanding Hasbro make another. I mean TT re-released it 2 more times as well, it not like there weren't sufficient chances. I believe BBTS had them as late as February 2019

If we get a redo on a titan figure, I think Fort Max should top that list. The base mode on the original G1 version was really nice looking, the one on the Titans return version, looks like someone vomited and turned it into a transformer.

Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but if we got a transforming ark, it’s likely we will get a transforming nemesis. Also, I wish I would’ve gotten that metroplex back in 2014ish. That’s before I started spending BIG on figures.

The Ark's bridge is 100% based on the same "Starship Enterprise-D" styled bridge design seen in both Cyberverse and the Netflix cartoon.

I'm not demanding anything, I'm not even saying that the next Titan release needs to be Metroplex. I am saying that I'm willing to wait for a future $150 Metroplex that is closer to the cartoon and toy design, rather than pay $300 two years ago, or $500 now, for the Generations version.

Assuming the rumor about the pause on Titans is true, I would be surprised if we see multiple figures when and if the class returns. But I'll go further and say, yes, I think that Hasbro can and should prioritize releasing a new Metroplex over unreleased characters, as high-profile characters often get periodic refreshes, and 'Plex is due.

At any rate, no one thinks there's going to be another new Titan in Kingdom, and we still don't have explicit confirmation of what the next Generations line or trilogy will be, so I don't think this discussion is even relevant in the near term.

It may not be the same, but honestly, this might be the only chance we have at an Animted Omega Supreme in any capacity.

As for the Nemesis, rumor mill right now is that there will be a Haslab TF again this year, $300 price range. Rumor is Star Saber/Victory Leo set, but could also be a transforming Nemesis to counter the Ark

I've been re-shuffling my collection displays around today, having decided that at some point this year I will buy the Ark. I'm kind of wanting to have the Ark crew line-up from the Netflix series as my main Autobot display, I'm just missing Hound, Sideswipe, Mirage and Cog, though I'm probably not going to buy a Cog. If I get both Battle Across Time sets, I would have to also re-do my Maximal shelf to fit Grimlock and Skywarp, and right now I'm not sure if the two sets will be worth the price. I may wait and see what happens with Hound, whether he gets an Earth mode retool or not, because the aftermarket prices for both the Siege and Netflix versions are pretty high now.

I saw siege Hound on bbts or Amazon for under $20 USD just yesterday I think

Greetings Seibertronians! Cast your minds back to the heady time of this April past, the last time we heard about the Transformers Kingdom Worlds Collide multipack set. There we got the DPCI, and the price. We'll thanks to an anonymous Target employee, we now also have a date it should be appearing on store shelves!



Yes, that's right, according to the image, this set should be appearing on Target shelves from the 21st of July! There is still no news on what figures will be in this set, but as pointed out by fellow Seibertron news Staff member, William-james88, the price does work out to roughly 4 deluxes...

What figures do you think will end up in this set?

I think it was discovered some time ago that this pack was actually a Buzzworthy thing. Which probably means it's four different Bee mold reissues and we won't get any information until the thing actually appears in stores.

I could be misremembering, however.

There have been toys in Buzzworthy Bumblebee that haven't been Bumblebees, like Studio Series Shatter and a Cyberverse Spark Armour Megatron. If the Worlds Collide set is in Buzzworthy, that could mean there's a good chance there'll be at least one Bumblebee in there.

I don't think that I'm alone in saying that I would love a Packrat repaint. I think the cool thing about BW figures is the long list of cool potential repaints that you can get out of them, just looking at the figures on my desk, they could do any of the dinobot/grimlock remolds, a shadow panther or McDonald's panther out of cheetor, they could do a crystal widow inspired retool/repaint of blackarachnia, a nightbird out of airazor... heck they could even get freaky with it and give us a purple shattered glass primal and go in that direction

Certainly a lot more interesting than rereleasing sideswipe with a a new car deco 4 times a year

Well if I had to make a solid guess based on existing molds...Tarantulas, Tigertron are easy guesses.

The darker Airrazor is possible.

So is Buzzsaw, Shadow Panther, Packrat, Hardhead, Dinotron

Maybe Ironhide (out of Rhinox)

As for the G1 figure that seem to be packed in these...any one of them. But I would prefer they did some repaints and make new characters instead.

And I say that as someone who loves my Siege Hotlink and Red Wing (although I cancelled my pre-order for the zombie, I'll probably still end up getting him). But Sunstorm is way cooler

I'm all about DW. I'd love a Sunstorm Tetrajet, but for some reason, I don't think Hasbro likes to acknowledge Sunstorm anymore.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark with guessing. Total cost is $80, which would imply 4 deluxes cause that breaks up evenly. I imagine this might be where Predacon Wingfinger is released, maybe a repaint of Black Arachnia as the Maximal Black Arachnia from the card, maybe Glyph from SG Goldbug, and finishing with a repaint of Tracks as Loudpedal. I seriously doubt I got the characters right, but it'd make sense that the "Worlds Collide" set would have one from each faction.

As a wish though, if it's not 4 deluxes, then it'd likely be 2 voyagers and 2 core class, and in this case, I'd love to see Predacon Rhinox and Dinotron as the voyagers, with the core class guys being Thundercracker and Skywarp (I would say Packrat, but I think he should be released with Fractyl from the rumored Terrorsaur as a nod to the original releases)

"Hey, here's the first ever toy of this extremely popular, breakout fan-favourite character from the comics, but she's only available in a box set with one of the Autobot Clones and some low-energy repaints of Optimus Prime and Six Shot".

I doubt a Kingdom box set would be as good as that titans returns one lol 1 Japanese exclusive mold (with bigger factions symbols that were better to me), 6 changer that was better than the original toy (some kingdom figures arent as good as older toys), 1 at the time exclusive figure/then only available as exclusives or TAkara and a comic nobody which was a nice exclusive resculpt, plus a metal head thrown in

Kingdom box set is likely just ultra magnus repainted and five different colors of stinky putty XD

Everyone is different. I got those sets specifically for Quickswitch/Magnus, the Clones, and the diecast TM's. I couldn't have cared less about purple fembot (whatever her name is). I gave her to my daughter. Metalhawk was ok.

Lime green? what are you talking about. The recolor will be blue. His name will be Packrat and no collection will feel complete without him.

TFW has inhand images of walgreens red alert. car mode still looks a mess with the mismatched black panel but just maybe the whites are going to match on the figure. The grey legs do look better but I'm avoiding it with my dislike of the original and still no shoulder wheels.

With the Sideswipe mold getting an earth version many fans are wondering if it's worth it when they already have all the characters in the siege mold. Well, we have some images from a Hong Kong TF group that shows how extensive a retool the new lambo mold is. These are shots of the upcoming Walgreens exclusive Kingdom Red Alert. You see him in his robot mode and alt mode, with comparisons to Siege Sideswipe. This toy will be out for the 2021 holiday season, as all previous Walgreens exclusives were.

The black panels near the front wheels in car mode kill me. I'd rather those have been matched to the rest of the vehicle color, even if it that area looked a little off in robot mode.

I'm still going to get these - they're far above the Universe versions of these characters - but that one detail could have made these even better.
