Posted by Tigertrack Apr 18, 2009 at 4:04pm CDT 28,460 views
Over the last few days, a number of sites have revealed and talked about what they have seen from the Transformers ROTF video game demos.

For those that have not taken a look, check out many new Screen caps here, at Team Xbox.

IGN describes the game experience here, and Joystiq also gives its impressions of the new game.

MTV also chimes in with their take on the new game buzz as well, and describes the Wii version differences.

All in all, the buzz seems to be quite good about this new movie based game.

Draw your own conclusions after looking at the pics, and reading the info, and thanks to multiple Seibertronians for providing the information.

More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

Well, the IGN article had a number of facts wrong, the first of which WHEN the game first came out. From the sounds of it though Sideways may switch sides if he's an Autobot to start with, but considering the facts issues they may have that wrong. The game itself sounds like they listened to what went wrong with the first movie game.

Here's hoping.

In a driving mission set in a tunnel in Shanghai, the transformation caused the player’s car Transformer to become a robot that can grind, “Tony Hawk“-style with whatever momentum he had from his driving, before reverting back to a car. The Transformer can shoot while in robot mode.

Ruh-roh.

Ha ha ha, someone who talks like me 8)

This game and all of it's possibilities is giving me a broner . Hmmm I've used that term an awful lot lately. Who cares, the game sounds like the shiet.

The PS3 and X360 versions sound positively yummalicous. Since I have a 360, I will most certainly be picking up this game when it's released. The Wii however...I dunno. It sounds worst then the first. (Which was mildly entertaining, at least for the first day or two) I mean, transforming is an attack? You're stuck in one mode, minus your "attack", for the mission you're doing? And, you can't choose your character? I'm glad I don't have a wii right now... :?

He did in the first game, but as soon as you could inspect the axe, it turned back into his arm

I had fun with the first one (still play it from time to time) and this one looks just as good. Cant wait to play it. Ill probably get the PS3 version since i hate the 360. Only way ill buy the 360 version is if its the only one with a collectors edition like the first game. I want to know more about the DS and PSP versions.

DS and PSP versions are being developed by the same people who did the DS and PSP versions on the first game. So the DS versions will be split and the PSP version is probably going to be terrible.

THere's more than likely a reason they're keeping quiet on those two versions, unfortunately.

Wow the Xbox version looks real good. The Wii version however does not.

I know what version I'm buying after I can find this game used :D

So instead of a hackneyed GTA clone, we're getting a hackneyed GTA clone with a Devil May Cry styled combo system. YAWN! The more I hear about this game, the lower my bar for it gets set. It sounds like it's going to be just as lame as the first game.

Hate to pimp another site, but Tformers had a lengthy review with some screencaps. Seems they somehow got ahold of a build or got to view it somehow. Definitely not impressed with the caps on the Wii...some industry experts are now saying the Wii may have peaked and is now on a downward spiral due to the completely different programming language involved; Xbox and PS3 apparently have similar language, making it easy to port games between them. In addition, the PS3 actually OUTSOLD the Wii for the first time in both the US and Japan and combined sales of the Xbox and PS3 are outnumbering Wii sales. With more than 50% of Wii games sold being Guitar Hero titles, some experts are saying to sell on the Wii now.

Boy did i get off track...

Game looks great...can't wait! Gonna be an expensive summer for my PS3 between Wolverine, Ghostbusters, Batman: Arkham Asylum, GI Joe, and ROTF...I need a job :-(

It would help if any of that information was correct. Just even slightly. Nothing you have said above is correct.

As far as I'm concerned the both of you are just blowing smoke up each others asses. If you think F-A is incorrect then prove it with some hard facts.
