The saga of the Mini Alternator took another suprising twist today, when Mini UK confirmed it's existence. Following Hasbro's denial that a license had even been sought from Mini at last weekend's San Diego Comic-Con, the following e-mail has been received by the TF@TheMoon website:

Thank you for your recent enquiry.

We are not aware of an official BMW product available, but are aware of the Hasbro model, which is available in the US.

So what's going on? Hasbro say they don't have the license, but Mini say they know Hasbro are producing one! Hopefully all will be revealed at this weekend's OTFCC!
