Also, for anyone looking for easy reference, here's the breakdown so far:

Core Assortment - Currently available through BBTS and Captured Prey. Comes with a free Mega-Gun or Brown-King through Captured Prey (and a bit cheaper, too).

Pinnacle/Firebox 2-Pack - Captured Prey Exclusive

Nit-Picker/Firebrand 2-Pack - Captured Prey Exclusive

Automated Robots 3-Pack - BBTS Exclusive

Deceptive Constructs 3-Pack - BBTS Exclusive

There should be wider availability for the core pack as well over the next several days, and possibly some additional exclusives, that is up to the stores.

The only PCC minicon worth a look was Pinpoint & Airlift. These all look great to me.

These are pretty clunky looking (especially in gun mode), however I'm intrigued by the seeming improvements in articulation. I'm still planning on getting a set for childhood nostalgia reasons. I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't pulled it's head out of the sand yet (giving how popular the Generations line has proven to be) and used new accesories as an excuse to release their own official Targetmasters, especially seeing how fond they are of recycling and re-using molds. They could have already re-released Hot Rodimus, Kup, and Blurr with slight repaints and utilized this new clip on gun gimmick. When I first saw Cyclonus with Nightstick a few years back (and Hound w/ Ravage) it was so awsome to think that Hasbro was really paying attention and trying to humor the original fanbase but it seems to have kinda faded a bit since then. Don't get me wrong, I'm hanging in there for the "Long Haul" hehe

I'm in agreement. I love seeing Targetmaster's get some love but this just isn't going to work for me. Back to waiting...

I don't think size will be a problem. The robot modes are the same size as G1 Targetmasters (just a hair over 2 inches).
