OooOooooh, dark gray with bright blue, yellow, and silver makes for a nicely unique evil Optimus deco.
It looks subtle enough to not evoke a dark commander type like Nemesis Prime or SG Optimus, but more like a middle-ranking officer in the Decepticon army who exists merely to mock the appearance of the Autobot Leader, adding insult to injury by stripping away any pretense of authority or power. A "Decepticon everyman", so to speak.

Well if they stop at Paradron before they ever get to Earth, Ratchet shouldn't have his Earth mode yet, should he?

Unless it's like TF: Cybertron where they scanned Earth modes from data files ahead of their arrival on Earth.Rodimus Prime wrote:Well if they stop at Paradron before they ever get to Earth, Ratchet shouldn't have his Earth mode yet, should he?

As for the Cybertron analogy, that would mean the WFC events are taking place in present time, not "millions of years ago" like in a lot of other continuities.

Now that you mention it, the Netflix show never did give a timeframe for its setting, right?Rodimus Prime wrote:As for the Cybertron analogy, that would mean the WFC events are taking place in present time, not "millions of years ago" like in a lot of other continuities.

Yeah. The panels did try to pass it off as a prequel to G1 if I remember correctly.Sabrblade wrote:Now that you mention it, the Netflix show never did give a timeframe for its setting, right?Rodimus Prime wrote:As for the Cybertron analogy, that would mean the WFC events are taking place in present time, not "millions of years ago" like in a lot of other continuities.

In one sense if they wanted to do a journey type story then the 2nd part of the story should have been further Cybertronian modes with the earth alts coming in part 3

More than anything I just want to know if Paradron Medics and the rest of the Galactic Odyssey sets will ever be made available outside the US. I mean depending what's in the sets I'll happily buy at least some of them, because it's a cute little idea that reminds e of the planet-hopping in Transformers: Cybertron. I just want to know if I ever actually can buy them. Takara Tomy Mall are supposedly starting pre-orders for Paradron Medics set next month, so perhaps that could give us international collectors a proper chance of owning these sets?

Yes! That is my thought too!
I'm looking forward to the side by side shot with the new Nemesis, whenever he comes out.
Dudes on the battlefield just to mess with the Autobots because we're Decepticons and we're sick like that.

Looking forward to a Glyph and Tap-out two pack. For Micron, maybe recolors of WFC Micromasters as Armada Minicon partners?
Leader-1, Swindle, Crumplezone, and Blackout all seem doable.
Hauler, Sunstorm, or purple Soundwave seem possible, though I'd expect them as Selects.
Machine Wars Soundwave & Sandstorm, and Armada Wheeljack, seem inevitable.
Maybe Detritus from Hound, with a color coordinated Iron-Works?

Demolishor's partner's called Blackout.
Don't forget we have at least one Armada-inspired team. The Air Strike Patrol is directly based on the Air Defense Mini-Con Team sans Sonar, heck, Storm Cloud largely reuses Jetstorm's transformation.
