New Galleries: Combiner Wars Blackjack and Huffer

Seibertron.com is proud to present our newest galleries: Combiner Wars Blackjack and Huffer!

Blackjack is an all new mold in the Legends Class size, meant to be incorporated into the combined form of Menasor, as the chest piece armor. (Because Motormaster shares his mold with Optimus Prime, Prime's chest can also use Blackjack.) Whether he's just a piece of chest armor, a really killer looking vehicle, or just a robot with a bad attitude, Blackjack is a little Decepticon packin' quite a punch.

His wave mate, Huffer, is a slight remold and extensive redeco of the Generations Legends Class Optimus Prime. Unfortunately, Huffer does not come with a partner robot like Optimus did. Both figures are currently shipping from overseas retailers, trickling into US e-tailers and should be at retail very shortly.

I'm liking these little dudes!

Looks like Blackjack's combiner ports are the standard 5mm. :-?

While I like the size i hate Blackjack's head. I wish they used the Rodimus head. I hate faceplates.

Just curious how you get these so early ? Do you pay those crazy ebay prices from Chinese sellers with factory hook ups ?

I thought I heard that the figure was originally supposed to be Runabout, (the head and chest do match him better), but was changed at the last minute. I'm glad they made him Blackjack, but yeah, I wish they would've went with a different face.

Oddly enough, I like faceplates. Whether or not this was supposed to be Runamuck, I'm glad it's Blackjack instead.

I am really digging Blackjack. I'd still love to see a repaint in red as Chase...I'll probably keep saying that until it happens too!

Huffer is an easy pass for me...there is just something about that figure that I am not into. The PCC version still works great for my collection.

I'm totes getting Blackjack, but only to beef up the Decepticon Legends' ranks, since it's been found that Menasor's torso still looks like it has the car-chestplate-thing. That, and I'm hoping Blackjack's axe is capable of forming a proper hilt for Menasor's sword.

I was thinking about Huffer, but... I think if I see him in-stores, I'd probably get him. But, as it stands, I don't need a third version of this mold, even if it's the most adorable thing ever.

As you can tell, I'm a faceplate kind of guy, myself.

If that truck grill on Huffer's back could have come up just a little higher, he could have had at least a nod to the original "hood."

As the first Leader class figures start appearing at retail, let us not forget about Generations Combiner Wars wave 1 in its entirety - specifically, the Voyager Optimus Prime (possibly) retool and redeco, leader of the Stunticons and main part of gestalt combiner Menasor: Motormaster!

The new Voyager figure is allegedly intended as the Decepticon counterpart to Superion in the upcoming IDW comics event Combiner Wars, though only one of the limbs is currently available for purchase, Dragstrip. It also comes with a gun and sword - which can be combined into a larger sword, new headsculpts for robot and gestalt mode, and is compatible with most Legend and Deluxe class figures from the line. i love his bot mode. combiner mode looks off, but im confident those legs can be tweaked to make him look less dwarf'y.

It would've been neat if they sculpted his feet to look like little truck halves.

I've been thinking about this pretty much since we first saw images: can Blackjack's weapon be used as a sword hilt for Menasor, or are there no attachment ports? :-?

Motormaster's here this early? I thought he was going to come out later with the rest of the stunticons.

I think I may need to paint on that handlebar 'stache he has in Stunticon Job..

I imagine that if there are none, it wouldn't be too hard to drill a 5mm hole into Blackjack's weapn there. Depending on how that works, that might decide whether or not I actually get him. What with the recent pics of MM in torso mode without him, I'll probably end up skipping him.

Well, I'm looking forward to Menasor, but if he doesn't look quite right then I think each Stunticon separately in robot mode will work just fine.

This mold is so much better as Motormaster than Prime. The lunky arms just don't well work on Prime.
