e-Hobby has tweeted a new image of their upcoming Transformers Cloud TFC-D02 Starscream alongside the previously TFC-D01 Megatron, both in their tank modes. No lack of Decepticon firepower in this line! Starscream is repaint of the Transformers Generations Voyager Doubledealer mold, and Megatron is a repaint of the Voyager GDO Megatron mold. They look really good together. Very uniformly deco'd.

Why do I feel that this Starscream could actually beat Megatron?

I would seriously have preferred the Blitzwing mold as Megatron. Starscream looks great, but I'd have preferred Megatron. The Bludgeon mold just doesn't fit for Megatron for me.

Looking at that pic, I wish they released all the G1 seekers with painted faces.

That particular one might have been a custom paint job.

It appears Takara Tomy's upcoming Transformers Cloud figures, TFC-A02 Brawn and TFC-D02 Starscream, will come with sticker sheets. Each will come with a set of their respective faction symbols in various sized, plus special Transformers Cloud mixed faction stickers. Images of the sheets are mirrored below from e-Hobby and the TakaraTomy Mall.

Nice one TT. Nothing against other companies, I use them all the time and hope they continue the great work they do re-creating the old G1 sheets and of course their original and creative stuff. But this is what I like to see in an official company-don't whine like a baby that somebody else is doing your stuff-challenge them at it and give fans what they want straight from the source. Faction symbol decals are always going to be in demand for customising options! (sadly I can't purchase a whole cloud toy for them... )

Those stickers are nice. Surprised there's no SG.

But this e-HOBBY and TakaraTomy Mall, not the TCC.

Ready for some updates from the Asia exclusive Transformers Cloud initiative? The TakaraTomyMall Twitter account has recently posted an image of the two most recent characters, Starscream and Brawn, facing off, in tank and robot mode respectively. On the other hand, eHobby have tweeted a comparison shot between the G1 Starscream and TFC-D02 Starscream figures, bothin jet mode. And finally, the TakaraTomyMall website has been updated with another chapter in the Guardians of Time story, and an illustration by Nagi Miyako; the chapter is in Japanese, and can be found here. Check out everything else below!

I wonder which non-Cloud Starscream that is in the upper left corner of the first pic? Armada Starscream or IDW-G1 Starscream. Looks like the Takara-Tomy redeco of the mold, I think?

It's Armada cartoon Starscream. The previous chapter had Cloud Brawn and Cloud Screamer go to the Armada cartoon world, around the time of episode 15, "Gale" (Sideways's debut episode).

Which means the body used is the TakaraTomy version of the Generations mold: two orange swords (one is barely off-panel) and hexagonal air intakes. Hey, gotta advertise current toys on the side, right? :ic$:

I wonder what Takara-Tomy's goal is with this one-off "Cloud" story. It seems like just a way to mish-mash a bunch of Transformers product from different continuities to advertise the hodge-podge that is the 30th Anniversary Generations line, plus push out a few more exclusive repaints to make some extra cash. In other words, the "Cloud" characters are just an excuse to dimension hop all around the 2014 Generations toy catalog. ;)

Well, I could see this argument working for the Generations Armada Stascream toy, but what of the previous story arc that had Cloud Optimus and Cloud Megatron cross over into the G1 cartoon? Everyone there who wasn't a Cloud character was in their G1 animation model designs instead of based on a toy.

Because Takara-Tomy apparently can't create a new Transformers storyline unless they somehow cram it into their bloated "G1 continutiy" tree? Now they can say the Unicron Trilogy happened within G1, just like the live action movies and Car Robots! ;)

Personally I hate having to many multiverses, I'm happy to have car robots and the unicron trilogy crammed in some how to g1.
