I just can't seem to make sense of this thing. I understand he's supose to be spinly and wirey, but the big circle behind the head, the lack of legs...
It's just not right, they could have done way better and just keep this guy ugly instead of a mismatched fugly.

While some of us out there like the movie designs, I've seen power rangers I'd rather buy with my money than these things.
I only plan to buy Voyager Prime, cos he got pazazz, but I won't be buying any of the others.
This is gonna be a great summer. I'll plenty of money to use for catching up on ones I've missed and want from previous series, and cos of the movie hype tfs will be much easier to find. After all, pretty much all shops are gonna wanna ride the waves when this movie hits.

I thought this one WAS the deluxe size...i guess we were wrong...which is good. I don't think Frenzy is going to end up being a deluxe size- he's to spindly for that. I'd wager he ends up a Voyager or Ultra size so kids can role-play with him...

When it comes to product marketing, our dollars are our vote. I have seen some intresting thing on the horizon, and some things that I just wont invest in. If we buy the crap, the folks making it will just make more. If we leave it on the shelf, they will work harder in the future to get said dollar(and then we can get this stuff up on clearance).
I for one realy enjoy the bot modes on the protoforms and am happy that I got them.
Other figures like Megatron are very intresting, even though I agree that he isn't a typical Megatron. But I have my own collection and imagination, and when I get this figure, much like my RID Megatron, he will be called something else and I'll create my own backround story for him.
BotCon did the same thing last year with their PreBeast Wars exclusives, so why can't I?
But what it all boils down to is individual taste, you don't have to get something just beacause they slap "TRANSFORMERS" on the box. And if you feel that need to and it's not for a higher purpose(such as a site like this) please seek help.

I might get this one just 'cause it's the first TF with a disk launcher I've seen in ages. On the other hand, I might not, since this is my least favorite of the movie designs. Some I like, some are ugly, but this one I actually find unnerving. Hopefully I'll get used to it...
