Images of Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Hoist have surfaced. The figure that was officially revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2009 has gotten into the hands of GenZhao at KOToys.com. Hoist is a repaint of 2007 Movie Longarm, clearly paying homage to his Generation One Counterpart.

As G1-homage-repaints go, that actually looks mighty fine!

I think the chest could do with a little more colour, rather than being just solid green, but otherwise a nice little toy.

Looks to me like he'd make for a good Classics Hoist.

I like it. Not many movie figs can pass as a Classic figure, but this one is close enough.

Ugh, green diamond plate? Failish. Still getting him, it's a great mold. Silver paint marker comin' thru!

I don't collect Hoists, but that's a nice looking repaint/homage, if in need of a little more detail on the torso. A bit too solid green, but looks good anyway.

Nice! I have to agree with you guys about the lack of color on the torso, but nice nonetheless. Still going to unscrew the rifle from the right hand and peg it into his left hand when I get him, though.

I like him, except for the head. It's a bit "Creature from the Black Lagoon"-ish.

Best part about that mold is that the alt mode is the first realistic 'normal' tow truck we've gotten to date. I've never seen a tow truck with that garbage on his back G1 Hoist has, for example.

Indeed he does. Thus, I shall get him for that purpose.

What about Slow Poke? http://www.tfu.info/1990/Autobot/SlowPoke/slowpoke.htm

I suppose the Machine Wars tow truck mold has a lot of junk on it's back too. Have there only been four Transfomrer tow truck molds in the series 25 year run?

Slow Poke isn't realistic at all. He's squished and superdeformed as much as (or more than) the 1984 Mini-bots, especially Cliffjumper. And the Machine Wars tow truck mold isn't bad, he's just not a "normal" tow truck - like Cybertron Armorhide, he's an over-the-road tow truck for hauling semis, not ordinary cars.

I passed on the original after seeing him in person, but this repainted one makes him look like he has an ENTIRELY NEW headsculpt, but he doesn't, its just an amazingly better paint job. I may have to get this.
