So judging from the lack of blasters in the Stealth Force mode, this release uses the Jetwing variation of the Leader mold, not the newer Striker one.

Nice! I'm really glad I sold my APS-01. U's color scheme is a nice compromise between APS-01 and the original Striker Prime (the additional paint apps don't hurt, either). The only real mark against him that I can see is the lack of face plate.

I thought they mixed and matched toolings from both?

Wow this looks good. Not worth $300 to me and need a swappable face plate, but still good.

The preorders at BBTS and TFsource are $270 or so.

The only difference between the two is in the gas tanks. Jetwing uses the Buster ones from the version before, and so does this one. As such, the blasters from the Striker version don't attach to them, but as a trade-off, you can attach the Jetwing backpack. Striker's gas tanks prevents that.

I thought there was also a difference in Prime's undercarriage that accommodated the Jetwing backpack. Could be wrong.
Another thing I'm loving with this deco is the scarcity of chrome. It was not a great idea for APS-01's grill - which as we know converts into the bottom of Prime's feet - to be covered in easily scratched chromed.

Swappable heads would be nice (though the genius faceplate thing from Armor Prime would be even better since you don't then have a spare head laying about getting lost) but yeah overall it's got a nicer paintjob. Lack of pinstripes on the flames bug me though as that's one of the things I loved bout my Buster Prime though at least they added the brassy colours here (which I added to my Buster).
Love all the accessories but most of all loving the articulated hands. They just add so much more to the posing and personality. Overall this is a superb version of what was already one of the very best Transformers figures ever designed.

Owning the original ROTF leader OP, Jetwing OP and Buster OP are quite enough for me, frankly. It's a nice option for those who either have a whole lot of cash to spare or haven't gotten their own ROTF leader OP yet (as hard as it is to imagine), but at 275 dollars, I've got plenty of other things to spend my money on.

That looks great, I love the additional gold accents on the figure and that tiny blue dot on his eyes.
Its a bit dissapointing that the smokestacks are still that ugly gray-soft-weird-straw-like pipes.
I still prefer the Abs and the chrome on buster prime, I wished he had the same chrome pieces and more, that shield would look amazing with chrome.
Overall great figure...

I kinda wish the hands were a lighter grey. Also, still want a battle mask.
