I gotta say, I like the plastic used on streaker. I don't know if the hasbro's plastic is a more translucent color, or is thinner, or what, but I feel that TT's streaker has (much) less bleed-through of black compared to hasbro's; wonder why?

You noticed it too eh? The Hb version of Ss is kinda KO looking thin. Either TT used a different mix or painted it over.

Well, it's possible that the solid black plastic on hasbro's is so dark that it bleeds through the thin plastic, or, since hasbro's is a different shade, its light enough that the contrast in concert with the thinness leads to bleeding.
I'm just glad they didn't use paint and plastic for the yellow, since we all know how that ends
But TT's streakers' plastic is much nicer, but that an Ironhide's bull horn belt isn't enough for me to want it

Something that has just struck me as odd with takara prime. The matrix/spark of combination on his chest. Back when prime was first announced I was sure that Takara would pay special detail to it but to see it there unpainted is a bit disappointing.

Optimus has the ports they're the red spots on the chest.

There are. It's just the perspective of the image makes them look shot. Check it out again.
But i fear that just like the rest of the molds, the Runabout/Hotrod holes won't fit snuggly.

Well, given that Takara's Menasor and Ultra Prime/Optimus Maximus/Grand Convoy Prime/man-this-guy-has-a-lot-of-names don't come with a chest minion, I don't see why they would retool it.

Convoy Grand Prime look so graceful in that one pic. Like he's dancing or something. 
But at least the insides of the two flaps are now shiny dark silver instead of just solid red. And other little details surrounding the Matrix-styled design are colored to homage Energon Optimus.
