Has anybody tried mistransforming Blast-Off into Strafe's robot mode? I'm curious to see how it would look.

UW07 Bruticus: Space Soldier Blast Off.
It's just below the midway point. The effect is kind of the same as Universe 2008 Sunstreaker vs. Sideswipe, down to the hands being switched for the other form. Don't fret about the fin, they can be relocated to the feet
And before you ask, yes, this works perfectly for a possible CR Shuttler (aka RiD 2001 Movor).

While I know that everyone is sick of CW/UW repaints, I wouldn't mind a Topspin and Twin Twist from these guys.

This retool is way too good to be legal. I really need it in my life and I don't know how many times I can say it.
... okay, I am freaking sold. I didn't have a good look at Takara Strafe before and my feelings on it were basically 'cool retool; definitely a solid figure, will be happy to have especially when the rest of the set is so amazing'. But now... oooooh boy, he's competing with Nosecone for the centerpiece of the set!
... okay, well, not competing since Nosecone's way too good to be challenged; but if Nosecone didn't exist Strafe would easily be my most anticipated thing of Computicon here. The colours are so sharp and crisp, the head mold is beautifully striking and those arm blades are just the icing on top. It's a crime I didn't notice this guy sooner, he's so cool.
I will admit there's one thing that worries me about these images - that Nosecone picture of his drill attached to the hole in front of his vehicle shows the peg is near the outer circle of the drill rather than the center, which (unless there's a second peg in the middle) does dampen it's appeal a little...

Reminds me of a few cheesy, goofy classic sci-fi robots. I'm sure there's more famous examples including star wars but my mind immediately went to this dude
And again it just shows off how much this mold can do. Rook could already do a lot shown here but it's just, like... Nosecone is the premium version. He takes arguably the best most versatile deluxe in CW/UW and expands upon it so much and adds a drill and everything. He's amazing

Oh I totally get reverse gerwalk mode and it looks great. I also know how to get there, I do have Rook, I just found the two before that with the hulk hand in the air and the one with the drill in the foreground weird. Oh wait I see it now. Those are just cool reverse gerwalk mode in weird poses.
I feel really stupid now.

If they did Liokaiser, I don't see why they wouldn't. But the biggest thing is if they would even do one.

And I see why they wouldn't use their Nosecone: the Drillhorn head is still associated with Brawl, plus there's still that (rather small) drill piece to use. The only real obstacle is changing Dezarus to a more acceptable character, I don't think Killbison and Drillhorn sharing form will be much of a problem, look at Fireflight vs. Slingshot and Dead End vs. Wildrider.

I was more thinking the actual drill tank from Nosecone would be more appropriate for Drillhorn. Plus, the whole thing with the torso guy

Still, availability trumps creation any time. I don't see TakaraTomy creating a new Drillhorn head for Rookcone when Brawlcone has a perfectly serviceable one.
