At Wizard World an interesting rumor was dropped by an associate of Tom DeSanto. Robert Zemekis (Back to the Future Trilogy) would be directing the live action movie. He also said that New Line Cinema (Lord of the Rings Trilogy) would distribute the film. There´s also some interesting fan-made concept art of what Optimus Prime could look like in the movie.
