At first, I didn't really care about this figure, but every picture changes my mind. Instant buy on site.

Sold.
I liked the animated version, but it was much to sleek for my taste.
RTS version is much bulkier, and just looks way better.
Has anybody else noticed that the figures in the movie line look terrible compared to Generations?

I have to admit, this figure has really grown on me. Still don't know that I will add him to my collection but he's certainly turned out to be a very cool figure and a pleasant surprise.

this does look cool. I've no prior experience of the character, but it seems like a nice solidly designed toy, and I could definitely see him fitting into a Decepticon army in a "big strong thug" role. Something the 'Cons can always do with more of.
the differences between the US and Japan releases are quite strong, enough that if someone had enough money and wanted to, you could easily use them as different characters. Not sure what version I like better, so if I do get one, it'll likely be the cheapest one I can find.

Add a pin up girl painted on the hull and it's perfect!

Not terrible, just different. It's a whole different aesthetic. I always take the advice of the Vulcans in these cases: Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations. In other words, variety is the spice of life so enjoy the differences in everything.

Really excited for this one to come out, though I've preordered the TT version. Solid, bulky, yet sleek in jet mode. A walking brawling jet o' doom.

Excellent photography there. Think I'll still go with the United version though, Lugnut needs to be purple as far as I'm concerned.

Looks like the nose pieces in robot mode are not mech alive, gear driven or what have you... Definite buy for me! Pin up girl would make the figure that much better lol

Lugnut is part of the movie line, and was designed to fit those aesthetics. Reveal the Shield contains both classics-styled characters and a few Bayformers (Mindset, Fallback, etc.)

wow i liked him before but now...HOTDAMN!! getting him. but heres my questions. and i know im just being hopeful but can lugnut please come with that bitchin stand. the one i got for my fansproject warbot is cool and only costed like 12 bucks but that one looks like it was made for him.
i hope they do alot more animated figures in generation style. lockdown was cool as hell and id love to see some more. omega surpreme would cool just bcuz the design for him was pretty cool. i liked him as a hude battleship. kinda like the WFC version.

Wasn't the Hasbro version meant to be green and the Takara purple?
I like the figure but if the domestic release wasn't a cop-out grey plastic, then i'd prolly buy him. They at least could have used a colored plastic. Cheap bastards.
The grey is sooooo boring! just like Stratosphere looks boring. He's all grey plastic too.

It was likely an aesthetic choice, not a cost saving measure...
