I pray more faceplate and less lips still because the faceplate is a Prime Trademark...

Nope, don't like an exposed mouth on Prime. Lips are for Primal. And if they can give Prime a humanish face, why not Starscream, Bumblebee, etc?

human faces for the good guys to better make them seem "human" and relatible. while the villians will always look less human oe larger then life. it's basic super hero supervillan 101

That's what I don't understand. I don't dislike any of the designs really, but I don't understand why some of them look like a completely different species to others.

It doesn't look terrible, but it's still a terrible call adding lips. It's like giving superman a big Q on his chest.

Doesn't anybody remember Optimus Primal without a faceplate in the show?

I know he wasn't G1 but get used to the lips there not bothering me

If the bigwigs thought the lips were so damn cool, then why doesn't a single piece of merchandise, promotional material or toy we've seen have Prime with his mouth?
