Yay! Oh, you misspelled "Madman".
Here's some questions:
1. What are the differences between this one and the Metrodome one?
2. Will Zone be released by Madman as well?
3. Will Madman be releasing all three sets together (with Zone) like Metrodome?

The Metrodome Takara Collection set is much cheaper than buying the Madman separate collections...

By, "differences" I meant "feature and specification differences".

Since I dont own the Metrodome sets, I do not know. I'd say the extras on this collection will set it apart from the Metrodome release. The collection is PAL, but playable in all regions in the 4:3 aspect Ratio. I believe that Metrodome's set has the same 4:3 ratio.
Zone consists of one episode. I doubt anyone would release it.
Madman have already released their region free Headmasters and Super God Masterforce Collections. If Madman are planning a complete amalgamated collection of the 3 series, then they have not had any press releases or info about it as yet.

Metrodome released Zone as part of their Takara Collection 3-pack set. It was added to the final disc of the Victory series sold in that set.

My question: is the Victory series any good?
I love G1. I like Headmasters, sort of (I have not watched it all yet). How is Victory in comparison?

That's why this site is the best when it comes to resources! TFW2005 can s**k it! Also, question:
Exactly which Madman Transformers DVDs are Region Free
Cuz I have yet to see anything exclusively japanese besides Scramble City and I would like to get on this horse.

He, heh, heh. I was wondering why the "competition" hadn't posted this story yet.

The 3 Japanese G1 series released by Madman are all region free:
- Headmasters
- Super God Masterforce
- Victory (with Zone)
As well as their Complete G1 Collection, and their 2 disc 20th Anniversary Movie Set.
Unfortunately their Beast Wars sets are Region 4 only, so you would need a region free DVD to play the Beast Wars DVD's.
And it would seem that this Victory Set will include the single episode of "Zone" as well. I missed that tidbit of info first time round.

There is no other information to be given out concerning the Madman DVD's. I believe the Metrodome releases were more or less the same in terms of quality of the film, and that they too were released in Japanese with English Subtitles, with the option in Headmasters and the occasional Super God Masterforce episodes to have an English Audio track.

Austrailian Dollars are running right around the same as US Dollars these days, right?
Re: One Week Until Victory!

Like many overseas currencies, the Australian Dollar is running very well against the US Dollar.
US$1 will get you about AU$1.06 at the moment. It was only a year ago it would have gotten you AU$1.30, and about 4 years ago it would have gotten you over AU$2!

Are the episodes complete on each release? Cuz, Metrodome's Headmasters set had the episode footage shown before the title card cut.
