Crimson Dynamo has shared some pictures of the brand new Optimash Prime figure from the Mr. Potato Head line. This looks like a fun figure and the addition of a face that closely resembles Optimus Prime's voice actor, Peter Cullen, makes it an even better spud! You can click on the photos below to view the full size images.

Behold - Optimash Prime!!

Here's what Crimson Dynamo had to say about this figure ...

Positives: How about "best Transformers merchandise EVER"? He's a potato. And he's a robot. He comes with a little flat-nose truck. He has a removable mustache. He has a removable faceplate...but get this - he looks like Cullen underneath! This toy couldn't be more amazing. Go! Buy it!

Negatives: None. This thing is pure awesomeness.

Final comments: I'm speechless.

Thanks for sharing these pictures with us, Crimson Dynamo!

Um... that doesn't look like Peter Cullen at all. No offense to Mr. Cullen, but I've seen REAL potatoes that reminded me more of him.

I think it's mean to say that he looks like PC!

I seen alot of pics of Pete, some he looks like I think Ceaser Romero would look like, in others he looks like a well aged rhine stone cowboy, but I aint ever seen him all bugeyed and red nosed.

Thats a horrible insult on this otherwise awesome toy!

I think the mustache is close enough to make him look like Cullen... clever.

But I want one!

When I first heard about this figure, I wasn't too keen on it. I mean, I loved Darth Tader and the Spudtrooper as much as anyone, but I think this just took it a bit too far.

Of course, I used to be dead set against the movie, too. And...well, time makes fools of us all.

That is an awsome pic. It really needs a better tag line, though. I like the idea of the little truck saying, "Are you my Daddy?"

Anywho. Yep, that is a pretty cool toy. Now they need Megatot. Heh, he could turn into a potato gun.

Does Peter Cullen really have a red, bulbous nose that would suggest many years of alcoholism?

I still can't believe this happened. Still, this is kinda cool. It would be interesting to see if there were future developments in this line, most likely Bumlebee or Megatron. I might actually pick this up.

No, that's just the Mr. Potatohead's telling you he is ripe with Vodka.

The captions for the pics have sold me to the idea that I have to get one of these. Not that Darth Tater ain't a cool toy to begin with. Cullen mode lol!I think that Murky Dismal (Rainbow Brite villian)Image is a pretty good resemblance to Cullen as well. Put a cowboy hat on Optimash then it is a resemblance!

You should have seen my girlfriends face when I picked this up off the shelf and started walking out of the toys aisle. haha.. he now sits beside my desk in his box. I must find the perfect place to display this grad piece of work, and figure out a mighty pose for when I unpackge him.
