You just replace the factory parts connectors with the upgrade pieces. You'll need a phillips head to replace the original head with the Crazy Devy version. You'll also use the screw driver to remove the green laser/missle thingies on the factory hips, and then attach them to the upgrade.

These add about 2 inches in height to Devastator (almost the size of Energon Bruticus now), and make the legs look great/better proportioned. Head is much more accurate to the cartoon, also. Here's some pics:

much appreciated, I like when these products have actual physical representation whether it's in comics, television, or film. I haven't a preference, I do tend to avoid third party products that are random colors "just cuz".

Nice pics HighPrime, they convinced me to go and pick up the original purple hips.
Then I saw the price, which convinced me not to pick them up

I think it's a really cool release, but I can't personally justify $35 for these parts.
If they come down to $15 or so at some stage, I'll be all over them.
