Love that shade of green. Would still like to see a "straight on" shot of it though.

I'm not a die hard collector so an old mold of big bright and ugly doesn't excite me.

Then you'll be surprised to know the neck piece is all new, and the Headmaster itself is retooled from Encore Cerebros/Spike from Fortress Maximus, representing Olin Zarak, Lord Zarak's son

Yep, confirmed on Twitter that it includes the chest guns. Hopefully they stay on this one better than 2010 Doublepunch.

I've never had a problem with my Doublepunch's guns.
The original Energon Scorpy on the other hand...

Just saw this on their Twitter (not quoting) - there are 6 hours left to register and only 27 Primus sets left.

The official BotCon facebook page has posted some additional images of their BotCon 2014 exclusive Sorponok figure. These images give us a better look at the Olin Zarak the figure's Headmaster unit, which has been remolded from the recent Encore Fortress Maximus Spike Headmaster. Check out the images mirrored below:

It doesn't seem as there's a neck joint. That was the One thing I was hoping from this, at least some kind of swivel at the neck with the headmaster addition.

I like the pink visor. The overall face sculpt is pretty good.

I'd sure like to own this guy, but like Fortress Maximus before him, I have to file it under Too Damn Expensive/I'm not good enough to make it to the Con figures.

I'm sure a third party will do a Zarak head that rotates.
