Transformers Legacy Tidal Wave is being distributed at the moment so several reviews are out, including one from our fellow Seibertronian, Kanrabat. You can read it below followed by a video from Emgo.

First things first, that bot is damn impressive. He feels HEAVY and DENSE. He may be the smallest titan height-wise, but contrary to all the previous ones, he does not feel hollow at all. There's also no annoying parts that can fall off randomly. He's mighty!

The transformation is very simple and can be done easily without instructions. The individual ships are nice.

The big spaceship is EPIC. Much more so than the Ark or the Nemesis.

The combining gimmick with Megatron is actually genius. Hiding the mini-me ships that will combine is a great idea.

However, Megatron's super mode is functionally weak because of the PIN joints of his hips and elbows that just can't hold the parts weight. Even if they are "small."

Overall, Tidal Wave may be the BEST titan ever, tripping Siege Omega Supreme in second place.

I watched emgos video on him. He said beware of the knee tolerances. The spring is so tight it could snap. He has heard of others having that issue.

That being said, he looks good. He's huge. I'd get him if I could afford him.

The knees do have some engineering issues but that's not a great way to describe it. Think TR Trypticon hips, just not as severe. I can post some pictures after work tomorrow.
