These could either be really good, or really hideous and yet still popular. Not seeing much middle ground.

Sounds really sketch. For them to be actually useable, they will either have to be a set of bigass oldschool headphones, or simply earbuds coloured blue and red.

Mabye they'll just be regular earbuds with Rumble/Frenzy transforming cases. That'd preserve functionality .

Maywire reported this as a rumour a while back so it's good to see that it isn't a hoax. I think Rumble and Frenzy will en up looking kind of like microman eggbot robot. As for the earphones I'm thining that they would prolly turn out good figure wise, but not so great sound quality wise.

I think this is a neat idea, and as close to what we've dreamed possible.
A TransFormer with actual functionality in it's alt-mode.

You know, I can see TT putting out a SD card version of Lazerbeak/buzzsaw and or ravage. I think that would be really awsome, though I'm sure they couldn't actually work as functioning SD cards.
